I appreciate that its not all beer and skittles in England right now, but nowhere is, and i think so many people there dont see what great opportunities are available to you.

Even if we are only talking about the trips across to the continent, the wonder of thousands of years of history, so many different cultures and countries within a few hours. Not to mention the history that the UK itself offers.

AND... LCFC !!!!....or any real quality football for that matter, if you are happy seeing league 2 or lower quality football as the premium brand then you wont miss football.

There really is more to life than sunshine and beaches.

but..i accept, im not there and dont know how bad it all is

Sounds like your mind is made up already so good luck to you mate. I would keep my options open though. There is after all also more to life than sitting in traffic for 2 hours a day.

There were worse places than that when I went up there for Uni. I lived around the corner from Goodison, and although the house was done up nicely, the area was an absolute shithole. There was a chinese chippy on the Walton Breck Road, and I had a very nasty surprise when I opened up my bag of chips!!

Needless to say, I lasted barely two weeks in Liverpool....

I can safely say that that chippy is still there and is now actually edible

Don't ever move to High Wycombe. The cost of living is HORRIFIC! I want to return to the Leicester area, but neither my wife nor my partner will hear of it.

My god that place has to be one of the most expensive places in the world!! My ex used to live there and i dreaded going to visit as it usually brankrupted me!
