Fair enough you're not into Mumford & Sons, but how do they not produce 'proper music'? I've seen them and they are a hugely talented bunch of musicians. It's only since they've had a bit of mainstream success that suddenly they don't produce the right sort of music anymore.

I just don't think they're any more talented than any one of thousands of folky, nondescript bands that get together in pubs and stuff and would never have any success.

Difference with Mumford is that they managed to introduce a banjo right at the instant where half the population of Britain decided the banjo was the next fooking coming of Christ.

Incidentally I actually don't mind the sound of the stuff. It's aurally inoffensive, well-produced enough, with some quite catchy tunes. But what gets me is (some) peoples' belief that they're the greatest musical discovery of the past decade (especially when there's SO much brilliant stuff out there right now). If I wanted to, I could probably sling on a banjo and right a few dancy catchy folk ditties but I wouldn't be considering myself the next Brian Eno if I did...

As you may be able to tell, I don't do banjos.

Its not that huge really. Probably the poorest out of the 5 songs out from his album.

Didn't even know it was on his album to be honest, thought it was more of a SHM thing. I think it's quality anyway, should be pretty big.

Much better than Written in the Stars in my opinion. Loving Swedish House Mafia at the moment anyway, helps that two artists I like a lot are together on this. Looking forward to hearing it drop in a decent club...
