DJ Barry Hammond Posted 6 June 2009 Author Posted 6 June 2009 New technology tevez, supposed to support muscles and stop you from getting cramp etc Try standing round and pointing more during the game - I find that works just as well!
ACF Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Im going for these next season Oh, and white boots are better, but I'mm wearing black at the moment coz theyre awesome.
Anorak Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Thinking of replacing my boots (Nike Tiempo Premier) as i've had them a few seasons now. Those are a size 12 but i'm sure i'd be more comfortable in a size 13 boot by now as my other footwear mostly is. Is there any other makes that are roomy (is that a word?) in that larger size i could try other than the Nike Tiempo range? I have large, flat feet and dropped arches and it's a bugger trying to find a new pair of boots up town.
Guest Chocolate Teapot Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 I'll be wearing the under armour new ones, courtesy of my former employees, they've kindly sent me a pair and are on the way as we speak. Cant wait to get hold of them. If they are anything like the rest of the UA stuff they'll be a cut above. http://www.footy-boots.com/zamora-showcase...all-boots-6856/
Tevez Posted 7 June 2009 Posted 7 June 2009 Considered getting the Under Armour boots, but for first time in making I wern't so sure. Maybe next season though, the black and green/yellow ones are pretty smooth.

JakeShingler Posted 9 June 2009 Posted 9 June 2009 Considering a pair of these bad boys for 5a side. http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prodinfo.as...ROFILE=Heritage
Tevez Posted 9 June 2009 Posted 9 June 2009 New technology tevez, supposed to support muscles and stop you from getting cramp etc Give me a break man, they are a money spinner for Adidas so people get the replicas that the proffesionals wear. If they magically stop you getting cramp then fair play, but they look like they'll give you cramp for £40 or whatever it is. Also I worry about going over on my ankle than the shin pad its self. I'll let you know how I get on with them Cheers pal. Considering a pair of these bad boys for 5a side.http://www.prodirectsoccer.com/prodinfo.as...ROFILE=Heritage I thought these were Y3 by Adidas, a few wore these at the Futsal Tourney in Leeds me and Albert went to. Pretty smart.
Uncle Albert Posted 9 June 2009 Posted 9 June 2009 Shin pads to stop you from getting cramp? I have seen it all now, it actually helps if you can run for periods of time to wear something to prevent you from cramp not just standing on the half way line and trying to attack.
Tommeh Posted 9 June 2009 Posted 9 June 2009 Will look for some new boots in the coming weeks, bollocks to paying over £60 though. The days when you were 14/15/16 and it was all a big competition to spend £120+ save up for all the paper round money and beg Daddy are long gone. They make fook all difference. Got the usually £130 predators for £40 at the start of the season and they've been brilliant. A similar bargain will be required. Can get these for £65, which is very tempting Oh and those new f50's are gash. There will be some new 'uns out next month anyhow. Complete rip.
Scaramanga! Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 Just seen these bad boys Dont no what to get now You an eggchaser then?
Unknown Fox Posted 10 June 2009 Posted 10 June 2009 I scored a fair few in 2 seasons from CB and CM. and played very well in white boots. Last 2 seasons I've had black boots and not scored one and played distinctly average. I'm not normally superstitious but I'm definitely getting white boots this term. Or it could just be I'm shit now. . I am currently sporting the yellow and balck total ninety laser, they have served me well, fairly flash for a CB, but when you've got it you've gotta flaunt it Na, on a serious note they're a decent pair of boots next season I will decide between Adidas World Cup/Copa Mondial, Preds, or the Lasers with the nifty area to put your laces, this annoys me on my boots when they pop out! <_< Also my boots have them plastic moulded studs are they for soft or hard ground?
Narborough_fox Posted 1 June 2010 Posted 1 June 2010 These bad boy gloves. Boots. Keeper kit I wear! Of course i am supporting Pink this season!
Stadt Posted 13 August 2011 Posted 13 August 2011 Thread revival woooooo. On a serious note what boots shall i get the new CTR's or the blue Adipower predator

Narborough_fox Posted 20 August 2011 Posted 20 August 2011 Is what I'm wearing nowadays, really comfortable and pretty decent for kicking out of my hands and off the floor.
