Matt Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Went in the club shop this afternoon to have a look at the new away shirt and get my Champions Patches on the side of my home shirt, and saw some canvas prints they have from last season, Very nice, but pretty pricey, think they were all £75, barr a bigger one which was of the whole team celebrating when lifting the trophy which was £125, I had already thought of getting a canvas print done towards the end of the season anyway and looked into the prices and I reckon you'd get it done cheaper yourself anyway. The ones in the shop ain't even signed for that price, I asked if they could get them signed and they said yeah but it would £25 extra So I might just get one done myself anyway and get it signed. I've just done a quick search on the net and found them, you can get them in different sizes on the website aswell - http://www.absoluteauthentic.com/category/...cester-City/414 Still expensive, but cheaper.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 I believe they're priced by size so they're the same price on that website as they are in the club shop: http://www.absoluteauthentic.com/Buy-Onlin...anvas-Print/336
Ozwin Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 I saw them earlier when I was picking up my shirt. The team one looks awesome, is it £25 for just one autograph? Because I'd love a team one signed by as many as possible.

(I know the shop are wanting to sell the biggest value, but they should make people aware of the smaller sizes if they have them instore) If I had the money, I would get the Steve Howard one! Yeah i'm considering that one, as for me that goal is very special, and for me the goal that pretty much confirmed promotion, after that game there was no doubt in my mind we were going up as champions.
Narborough Bod Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 I can think of better pictures to have as prints...Claridge / Walsh after their goals at Wembley. Other team prints during the 90's. O'Neill leaping 20 foot in the air after Claridge had scored. Just remember if you buy one, will you look back in 10 years and ask, why did I invest £125 on a picture of a League 1 winning side. I feel the club are aiming a little low with the pictures they have.

I feel the club are aiming a little low with the pictures they have. I already have a couple of pictures from the good old day in the 90's. A signed Muzzy picture, A signed Marshall picture v Athletico Madrid, Along with signed Elliot and Izzet shirts, All pictures and shirts are framed. Which is why i'm asking the question, do I need much else, although i've got abit of a collection going, and they are nice pictures/canvas, I can't put all of them on my wall, and whats the point in having them if i'm not going to put them on the wall.
5waller5 Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 You can upload your own photos to get canvas prints done at; 48 Hour Canvas They aren't cheap - but they are really excellent quality! I got a voucher code for 10% off with my last order - don't know wether it still works but you can try - "friends09"
Ozwin Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 I could be tempted to buy some of them off you...purely for spacial purpouses of course...
clazkel Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 I saw them acouple of weeks ago, im hopefully going to get the Fryatt/King/ Gradel one - loved that moment!
Guest Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 I contemplated buying the one with Tunch jumping up behind the group of the players hugging, just can't afford it right now. Maybe sometime soon
purpleronnie Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Dont like prints myself. I have a large pop art collection and had some custom painted, some I purchased and nothing beats hand painted in my opinion.

Jordan Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 I want the Pearson one... ...as a massive tattoo covering my back.
samlcfc Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 If I had the money, I would get the Steve Howard one! same here, what an actual epic moment
foxoffderby Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 I saw them too, yesterday when I went to the club shop. Very nice, some great memories especially the Steve Howard one as can see myself in the background jumping up and down like ive won the lottery.
jockkkk Posted 22 July 2009 Posted 22 July 2009 Given how accessible the players are I'd get it signed yourself if you can, then at least you could get it dedicated if it suited you. I saw them the other week, I like the one of Oakley lifting the cup, the S****horpe match was a great night! If a signed picture is what you're after then this company have a few, click on products on the left www.sportsignings.com.
