Only real fanatics for this one.

Stewards can be absolute cvnts to away fans apparently, get the feeling it could be a pretty trying afternoon.

Most of em are these days sadly. I dont remember them being too bad last time but then again I am an angel

It's affectionate, not an insult :D

Hmmmm <_< lol

What a twat. If it's called off, let's all get round Peter's house. Smash up his central heating and then shit on his kids.

I'm with you.

EDIT: I like that gun-toting smiley so much he's become part of my sig...

I imagine last time you had a bit of concrete to stand on, not a shiny plastic seat you're sposed to sit in.

Oh God yes good point, I keep forgetting its a new ground

Apparently they have the pipes for undersoil heating, but their chairman or owner or whatever is too tight to actually make them functional...

Sounds familiar.....

(Yes, we went into administration.......)

11.30 pitch inspection

This could be an absolute nightmare. I'll be in bloody Cheltenham by the time we find out!

Get down Whaddon Road if it's off. Chelts at home to Burton Albion.

Feel like a bit of a disabled for not making this. Severely lacking in cash at the moment. :(

Absolutely. In fact even if I end up in Cardiff I might still have time to get the train back to Chelts and cheer them on at Whaddon Road!

IT'S BEEN CALLED OFF. (Just in case someone doesn't spot the other thread!)

As a mod you can ban anyone you suspect of having multiple accounts under forum rules so stop moaning about it and do something.
It'll be fine, a new ground should have no problems dealing with a bit of bloody cold weather.

You'd think!

What are the chances that Google Maps is wrong, and it is possible to leave Northampton at 5pm and make it to Cardiff in time to park and attend the match?

I think it would be unlikely to make it for kick off as you will be hitting the major motorways at peak times. However im sure you like a challenge and if you did make it in time then that would be a brilliant effort.

Not sure how we are getting there as yet. Fox travel is looking favourite. I am certainly not driving there again though, it almost finished me off last time.

Considering giving this a miss. If it was at Ninian Park then I would be on it like a shot but another long trip over to Wales doesnt appeal.

That is what the head is saying.

I love challenges like that although it's about as ambitious as my attempts to make the Scunny game last saturday and sitting in traffic outside the highcross at 10 past 3.

Won't be making this, did the ground in the cup, horrible place as said if it were Ninian Park Al Qaeda wouldn't keep me away.

At least you aren't coming from Nottingham for this one Lease, from Northampton is doable I reckon. It took me two and a half hours I think from Northampton on a Saturday and that can be just as busy. If you miss the first few minutes or so, it's better than just missing the whole thing altogether no?

Train to cardiff and lift back with someone? That's always an option.

That was my second thought, and amazingly the car is faster than the train for this one.
