vegas Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 what's the likelihood of me getting an away ticket for city away @ cardiff in december, not being a season ticket holder? slim, i presume.
Bert Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 Depends on how we're doing. Can't see you missing out to be fair. The one negative is, it's a new ground. The positive is, it's near christmas.
C-man Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 what's the likelihood of me getting an away ticket for city away @ cardiff in december, not being a season ticket holder?slim, i presume. There is absolutely no chance of this selling out before general sale.
AjcW Posted 1 October 2009 Posted 1 October 2009 I managed to blag a box for the game... im looking forward to it.
Guest Bilo Posted 2 October 2009 Posted 2 October 2009 Should have few problems with any mid-season game that isn't a local derby, even if we're still doing well. A new ground probably means a generous allocation so I'd be very surprised if you couldn't get a ticket.
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 2 October 2009 Posted 2 October 2009 Am looking forward to this one. My best mates now live in Cardiff and am being given the weekend off by the misses to go. Don't know if she realises it is the week before Crimbo yet though. One thing I do know is that it will be drunken with a bit more drunken thrown in. Oh yeah and a football game too.

Not thought about transport yet though, might be a case of getting to the Fezmeisters and going from there.

Guest Posted 4 October 2009 Posted 4 October 2009 I am thinking of a night in Brizzle rather than Cardiff. Brizzle rocks

Not thought about transport yet though, might be a case of getting to the Fezmeisters and going from there. Fantastic news! I reckon I'll be getting to this one on the train.. Mainly because it's probably easiest for me, but also because it'll allow me to consume more alcohol and remain, for want of a better phrase, off my fu cking tits.
Alexikokopops Posted 10 October 2009 Posted 10 October 2009 There should be cheap train tickets on sale now. I want cheap train tickets! Ignore that. I've found cheap tickets
Flynny Posted 10 October 2009 Posted 10 October 2009 I am thinking of a night in Brizzle rather than Cardiff. Brizzle rocks What date is this exactly? It better not be before the end of my term.
Guest Posted 10 October 2009 Posted 10 October 2009 What date is this exactly? It better not be before the end of my term. 19th December, I think? It's the last Satdeh before Crimbo. We finish the day before, so another day won't hurt.....
Leicester Rule! Posted 10 October 2009 Posted 10 October 2009 Not as exciting as a trip to Ninian Park ............ Just another new Legoland to visit.
AjcW Posted 11 October 2009 Posted 11 October 2009 Not as exciting as a trip to Ninian Park ............Just another new Legoland to visit. You obviously didnt watch their game the other day on sky. They have taken the almighty noise with them. Sure its not going to have that falling to pieces charm about it but the noise is still there.

But it is not going to be as good trip as Ninian on the terraces .... Bring back the old stadiums any day.
Alexikokopops Posted 12 October 2009 Posted 12 October 2009 £14.20 return from Twickenham to Cardiff Central. Arrive at 10:48 am, ready for the pubs to open early doors, then leave at 8:30pm, giving me a chance to grab a bite to eat with my mate from Cardiff. Should be a lovely day.
