Off to Derby tomorrow

Clarke was a hero last week, seemed to be adored by all around me in the Kop.

Will hopefully get into a nice routine of Leicester away/Sheff wed home, this away one is a one off as we have Cov and it's a tragic awayday.

I hoped Varney would play.

Any news your end whether it'll be made perm?

Unfortunately he still gets stick from some fans. I take it you are at uni in Sheffield?

Surprised, but I've only seen one game so can't make much comment.

Yeah at Hallam, it's Bloody brilliant.

Doubt it to be honest. Unless he's available on a free at the end of the season. It all depends on whether we get investment by January. Unlikely unless we move someone on.

You can have him.

I'm glad you're enjoying it.

I quite like him. Not a patch on Tudgay ;) thanks for him as well, but a decent enough striker at this level. I prefer Clarke and Tudgay as a partnership but I would have Reg as a squad member.

Paul Dickov :scarf:

That's probably the only time those words and that smiley have been used in conjunction in this forum's history

I don't think I ever imagined putting it either.

:( Wow that was bad. Our worst performance in years. We made a very poor side look like worldbeaters. Congrats to the Derby fan on the 3 points you won't get an easier win than that.

Brian Laws' view:

Sheffield Wednesday manager, Brian Laws, tore into his players following a display at Derby County on Saturday that he tagged as 'awful'.

The Owls turned in their worst performance of the season and were brushed aside 3-0, leaving a fuming Laws to assess the damage.

He said: "Quite simply it's not good enough. Where do you start? You have to earn the right to play and did we earn it today? No. We know that Derby had a difficult game at Cardiff and would always respond but I would expect my players to respond better than that. I'm bitterly disappointed.

"From the start we looked shaky, our passing was nowhere near the standard we require and our finishing was woeful. They got a goal from an error you would see in Sunday league. Second half, we said if we get the next goal we could win this game because they could get nervy but we missed an open goal. I can't believe we've not scored and that changes the game.

"They broke away from a corner and the whole team collapsed. It was absolutely shocking and I'm disgusted with all of them."

Laws felt desperately disappointed overall with the manner in which Wednesday went down to their heaviest defeat of the season so far.

The manager said the Owls were sloppy all over the pitch and finished with exactly what they deserved.

He added: "I've been backing them 100 per cent, I've given them every reason to be positive but today they have kicked me right where it hurts and I'm gutted.

"I actually feel worse than when we lost 6-0 at Reading and that's saying something. If that's what I'm going to get, then I will make changes. It doesn't represent the way we want to play and doesn't represent the way that we want to move forward at this football club."

There was no way Derby would lose again after the anal raping they received from Cardiff in midweek. Bad time for Wednesday to play them. Derby had to react to the poor result, and they did.

Yeah Wednesday were terrible and made Derby look good which they wern't and Dickov was a prize tw-at as usual.

Wednesday end was awesome though, not that loud or consistant but great people in there and everyone stood throughout the complete opposite to what I bet many on here gor at Cov.

I am sorry for stating the truth.

Our support wasn't amazing yesterday, it was never going to be, but I thought it was better than expected.
