City Fan Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 I wonder if any CCC clubs will match the 40K/week (or near enough) he used to be on? 149886[/snapback] No but he would have to take a pay cut like many of our players joining us this season. That was Ridsdale putting him on stupid money.
Steven Posted 4 August 2005 Share Posted 4 August 2005 The rumour is from Talking Bollox, as some might like to call it , that Elvis Hammond is on his way very shortly. Biography:Elvis joined Fulham’s Academy at Under 16 level and has been a persistent goal scorer in the years since. However, despite breaking in to the First Team at the tail end of the 2002/03 season (during which he was top goalscorer in the Premier Reserve League South with 13 goals) an injury stricken 2003/04 meant that he largely watched from the sidelines. A powerful and pacey striker with a natural eye for goal his Fulham First Team debut came in 2000/01 when he appeared as a substitute in the League Cup game at Chesterfield. Elvis has dual nationality after being born in Ghana to a British mother and has played with some of the big Ghanaian names such as Marcel Desailly, George Weah, Roger Milla and Abedi Pele. Having worked hard last season to regain his match fitness, and following a short loan spell at Norwich City, Elvis will undoubtedly be looking to reaffirm his potential as a regular Premiership striker this season.
