Sir Fynwy Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 It's all a bit boxing becomes WWE, at least there should be a real fight at the end of all the panto build-up.
Dr The Singh Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 It's all a bit boxing becomes WWE, at least there should be a real fight at the end of all the panto build-up. AGreed, this fight is more of a spectacle, hopefully there will be a fight at the end, not a act!!
Sir Fynwy Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 AGreed, this fight is more of a spectacle, hopefully there will be a fight at the end, not a act!! If there are 12 rounds of bear hugging and/or running boxing will be a laughing stock, the ref will need to be on his game. At least I've got tickets to a fight that's guaranteed action on 22nd.
Tevez Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Haye better win or them thousands of boring television interviews are going to make him look like a right tit. Valuev is pretty quick for a big un.

Sir Fynwy Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 What's that then??? I've got tickets to see my mate fight his second pro fight, he's prone to cuts and usually ends up looking a right mess but it's all good fun.

Edmund Posted 4 November 2009 Author Posted 4 November 2009 program starts at 8pm and the Haye fight is scheduled for just after 10pm is what sky were saying last night Good news then. Just remembered the fight is in Germany not the U.S so makes sense. Never been a fan of those 4 A.M starts.
Jay Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 Good news then. Just remembered the fight is in Germany not the U.S so makes sense.Never been a fan of those 4 A.M starts. Like the recent Carl Froch fight in Nottingham which started like 2am or something stupid for American audiences
Guest Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 I've got tickets to see my mate fight his second pro fight, he's prone to cuts and usually ends up looking a right mess but it's all good fun. How did it go again? "Can't hit my, can't hit my, no you can't hit my paper face". Oops.
BoneDog Posted 4 November 2009 Posted 4 November 2009 It's all a bit boxing becomes WWE, at least there should be a real fight at the end of all the panto build-up. Even parts of MMA have become like that recently. I've seen a couple of blatantly faked fight endings in the last couple of years and it is very disappointing. I do think that this will be an entertaining and aggresive fight to end all the panto though
dandannieldanok Posted 5 November 2009 Posted 5 November 2009 Both of Valuev's parents were 5ft 5in tall!
Fox You Forest Posted 5 November 2009 Posted 5 November 2009 Both of Valuev's parents were 5ft 5in tall! Must have punished him using a rack.
Raj Posted 5 November 2009 Posted 5 November 2009 Both of Valuev's parents were 5ft 5in tall! Drug free then is he???
dandannieldanok Posted 5 November 2009 Posted 5 November 2009 Drug free then is he??? According to his grandmother, his height comes from his grandfather who was descended from the Tatars, an ancient Asiatic warrior tribe. That or drugs.
Tilley Posted 6 November 2009 Posted 6 November 2009 Hope Haye knocks him out, it'd be brilliant. A proper British Heavyweight Champion would be good.
Guest Bilo Posted 6 November 2009 Posted 6 November 2009 Depends on how both come out. If Valuev can connect well with him, Haye could be knocked into next week. I do have the feeling that Haye is something of a determined character and is known to be very quick, if that can tire Valuev out and he can avoid the most powerful of Valuev's hits I can see Haye taking this. Full respect if he does, Valuev is one hell of a fighter just through his sheer size and power. To summarise, impressed.

Back InT olde days(Even when davieG and Thrac were lads, there was a fight between Jack Dempsey and Jess Willard. That was the original David V Goliath fight and Dempsey (Ikkle un) felled the giant time after time and eventually won. So David can beat Goliath. Only difference is that these 2 are poor poor Heavyweights. Valuev is no Sonny Liston, and Haye is even shitter......
lildave3 Posted 6 November 2009 Posted 6 November 2009 I really can't wait for this. Would love it if Haye wins.
Joe. Posted 6 November 2009 Posted 6 November 2009 Can't see Haye taking this one personally. I don't think Valuev's ever been knocked out, understandably so, and I just can't see this changing tonight. Valuev is far more experienced in the heavyweight field and is bigger by a long stretch. Haye's speed will win him this one if it's to be the case, if Valuev doesn't tire him out too quickly. Should be a good fight anyway, looking forward to it.
Raj Posted 6 November 2009 Posted 6 November 2009 Jab...Hug...run....jab...hug...run.....BIG Overhead from Valuev......hold...jab...run.....hold..... P.S Can i come round someones to watch it???? Ben????

Samilktray Posted 6 November 2009 Posted 6 November 2009 Id put my mortgage on Haye winning if I had 1 to bet.
