Ajax Treesdown Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Weale - 5 - Parried a shot to Adebola...can't do a lot when you have a defence like that!! Neilson - 2 - Shocking, I hear Elgin City need a right back?!?!? Hobbs - 2 - Poor display Brown - 1 - Worst defensive performance I have seen...makes Jacob Laursen look like Phillippe Mexes Berner - 2 - Good at attacking......shite at defending Oakley - 3 - Waste of space - Captain, my arse!!! King - 3 - Thought he was in a red shirt yesterday Wellens - 4 Grafted but to no avail, has to pretty much do everything in midfield Kermorgant - 5 - Should have stayed on, get him up front!!! Fryatt - 3 - Should NOT have started or played.....drop him at once!!! Waghorn - 7 - Worked hard, it was Waghorn vs Forest yesterday Subs: Dyer - 4.5 - Decent wing play, but get your shots in boy!! Howard - 2 - He didn't play....what.......did he........could have fooled me!!
Father Ted Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Weale 5 Nielson 0 - what's the difference between Nielson and a bucket of shit? The bucket. Brown 2 Hobbs 5 Berner 3 Wellens 5 King 4 Oakley 3 Kermorgant 6 Waghorn 7 Fryatt 3 Dyer 4 Howard 3 Morrison 5 - MASSIVE improvement on Nielson. Ref and linesman - WANKERS
Guest Bilo Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Going to put the same effort into rating the players as they put in yesterday. No composure, no passion, no fight, no pace, no cohesion and no clue. 0 for all. Pearson seemed determined to disprove the mantra that you don't become a bad manager over night. Waste of time, effort and money. Let's hope this was a one-off bad day at the office and not indicative of deeper problems. Seem to remember us putting in a similarly abject performance at Portman Road in 02-03 and still had a good season.
lou Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Weale - poor communicationNeilson - absent Brown - fooking woeful Hobbs - suicidal Berner - Bambi on ice Wellens - Ridiculous Oakley - Injured horse with broken leg King - Amazing. Except he thought he was playing with Earnshaw. Kermorgant - Invisible Fryatt - Laughable Waghorn - Running around like a twat doesn't make you decent. Howard - Retired Dyer - Blind Morrison - Too late Home fans: difficult not to cock up a victory like that, in good voiceDavis > Pearson: He pulled his trackie bottoms down and soundly spanked him in front of 28,500 people Cops: wonderfully crap at letting people leave ("me oat") the car park Players: Walking off without saying thanks or sorry? C@nts. City support: why bother? Seriously. 2,800 of you didn't utter a peep until the wank leftsiderightside got rendered. As feeble as the team. As near as dammit £100,000 spent to do nothing...the next time I plan on being crap on a Saturday come and watch me in silence for that money. Shit: I hope you know you were. Not to mention the "4-1 down who gives a fook" fecking embarrassment of a song the ****** were singing. Jeez! <_< anyway Weale - 5 Hobbs - 3 Brown - 1 Berner - 3 Neilson - 1 Wellens - 4 King - 1 (for us 9 for Forest.) Oakley - 1 Yann - 4 why the fook did he get replaced by a tub of lard? Fryatt - 1 didnt look interested in our biggest game of the season. fook off Waghorn - 5 Best of a bad bunch Howard - 1 go now please Dyer - 4 tried at least Morrison - 4
C-man Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Why is King a 9 for a Forest? He didn't give the ball away as much as Wellens, Dyer or Oakley did. Daggers is spot on about our fans. And people are called 'terrace warriors' for saying that they prefer 1100 at Carlisle to 4500 at Forest.

I noticed him giving it away a lot more, Earnshaw must have him on his Xmas card list now for sure agree on the 2nd point though

Super Arj Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 judging by the comments. a tunchev is needed.
C-man Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 I noticed him giving it away a lot more, Earnshaw must have him on his Xmas card list now for sure Maybe he did give the ball away a lot, but to Earnshaw? I think Bruno Berner and Wayne Brown will be higher up on his Christmas Card list than King.

Like I said its what I noticed at the time, Im sure youre right too they all did appallingly. I happened to spot the look of joy on Earnshaws face a couple of times when the ball was dispatched to his feet thats all and it stood out in my mind. To be fair we did it that often it all became a bit of a blur but I did think Wellens was marginally better than the other midfielders. Youll notice I didnt score any of the defenders very highly either
Webbo Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Daggers is spot on about our fans. And people are called 'terrace warriors' for saying that they prefer 1100 at Carlisle to 4500 at Forest. What stopped the hardcore fans singing? If you lot were singing, why do you make less noise because there are people around you who weren't singing?

I thought he was wank but not as wank as some of our other 'players.'
Shrenchel Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 What stopped the hardcore fans singing? If you lot were singing, why do you make less noise because there are people around you who weren't singing? 5 rows of gormless mutes between every couple of people who want to sing makes it a bit difficult to get anything going.
C-man Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 What stopped the hardcore fans singing? If you lot were singing, why do you make less noise because there are people around you who weren't singing? Tommeh will back me up on this. When Lloyd came on, I [loudly] tried starting his song. What happened? I got made to look like a mug on my own. You do make less noise when there's a big following because all the song starters are spread out. One thing I will say is that the deafening PA system pre-match definitely had an adverse effect on our fans. If it wasn't as loud we may have sang before kick off which could have given us some 'derby' passion which would have made us sing more than once during the game. Also, I don't think switching ends did our fans, or team for that matter, any favours either.
Webbo Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 I'm guessing at 5-1 down not many people were in the mood to sing anyway. If people want to sing or want to sit on their hands all match in silence then that's their choice. It doesn't make anybody better or worse than anybody else.
davieG Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 5 rows of gormless mutes between every couple of people who want to sing makes it a bit difficult to get anything going. I'm sure it's always been a similar ratio but with reserved seating the problems been made worse. Unreserved seating would go a long way to solving it and encourage the singing fans to get there early like the used to in order to bag the 'best' seats. Either way it still doesn't justify having a go at the non-singing fans they pay their money and can choose to support in the way that best suits them. If you want to blame anyone blame those that thought singing was mongish and that trying to beat the shit out of opposing fans was the ultimate in fan worthyness plus the Football authorities and clubs who've used them as the excuse to sanitise the game so that it's akin to going to the cinema and to extort the average fan.

We were shocking before their first goal went in and absolutely abysmal when we were 2 down with a feasible chance of getting back into it.

I think that people who actively support their team by singing/standing etc do the team more favours than those who sit in silence. Doesn't mean I think one type of fan is a better person than the other!
Webbo Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Were you were there mate? No. I'm the caring, sharing kind of part timer/disabled who wouldn't want to spoil anyones 'matchday experience'. Also I can't afford £30 a ticket just before Christmas.

I'm not having a go at them per se. Gormless and mute were descriptions of their manner yesterday, I didnt call them cvnts or scumbags or ******.

Doesn't mean I think one type of fan is a better person than the other! But not always I've witnessed many a vocal fan in the kop some even threatening quiet fans with violence only to see them start loudly booing when things go wrong. There's always been a fair number of quiet fans supporting every club and they're often still there when the club is permanently playing shit football. As I said in a previous post the problem is not the quiet fans but the system that does allow like minded fans to congregate together. I'm not having a go at them per se. Gormless and mute were descriptions of their manner yesterday, I didnt call them cvnts or scumbags or ******. plenty do.
DanTheFox07 Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 judging by the comments. a tunchev is needed. Can`t be back soon enough! we are a different team when he plays!! Expect Brown to lose his place when tunch is fit again!
Daggers Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 If people want to sing or want to sit on their hands all match in silence then that's their choice. Did anyone say otherwise?
Sparky Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 I was in Y block yesterday and had a good sing until the fifth went in. Had a group of 5 or 6 younger lads in front who sang thier hearts out and a bloke in between who insisted referring to Howard as donkey. The only song i refused to sing was the "2-0 down who gives a fook " cringworthy song. I give a fook were 2-0 down and playing like a bunch of retards away at Forest !
Webbo Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Did anyone say otherwise? No, nobody did. This fan elitism is just something I read in the Daily Mail.
