Guest ttfn Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 I'm baffled at how Fryatt and Kermorgant could be worth 2's when they were on the pitch for 2 and 1 of the goals respectively? Then again, I wasn't there so I'll bow to your superior view. It didn't sound like either was involved though - I could understand a '2' if they gave the ball away 15 times and conceded a penalty each but they just didn't make an impact by the sounds of it. Surely those defenders on the pitch for all 5 goals did a worse job? Or those players (ahem King) who were apparently non-existent for 90, rather than 20 minutes? Odd.
Corky Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Three's for most, Waghorn worth a 6.5, Dyer possibly 4.
Jfox Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Weale 5 - Not his fault for the goals apart from the fifth Neilson 4 - Beaten by Anderson for pace every time Hobbs 4 - His fault for goal 3 and didnt deal with earnshaw at all Brown 2 - Didnt win anything, always backed off and much too slow Berner 3 - Again, beaten for pace every time Oakley 6 - Totally outclassed in midield but tried to create things Wellens 6 - Outmuscled, tryed his usual intricut passing, didnt work though King 4 - to be honest, where was he? Kermogant 4 - won things in the air, in my opinion was one of our better players before being subbed off Fryatt 3 - Useless, barely touched it and when he did he just lost it Waghorn 6 - The only real bright spark, he couldnt beat the defenders for strenght though, won a penalty, which was taken away from him and scored one Howard 5 - Won a few in the air, thats about it really, stupid booking Dyer 6 - ran at players with no end product Morrison 5 - looked better than Neilson but still not quick enough Pearson 4 - tactics totally wrong for the whole game but at least realised this and tried to change it early, but he failed Officials 3 - Penalties the wrong way around, second goal was offside aswell
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Weale 5 - Didn't do much wrong really. Neilson 3 - Was always gonna get beaten for pace and I blam NP for that. Hobbs 3 - He and Brown were just al over the shop today. Brown 3 - Backed off all the time and was out paced. Berner 3 - A suprising poor game from him today, similar to Neilson. Oakley 4 - Had a go, but not much to shout about, should have scored Wellens 3 - Very poor with his passing not being up to much. King 3 - Did he touch the ball??!!?! Kermogant 4 - Out of position, all part of the failed plan by NP Fryatt 1 - Looked like he had just been to McDonalds for breakfast. Waghorn 6 - The only one who cared, great peno. Howard 4 - Put in the effort with no end product Dyer 5 - Came on around half an hour and didnt touch the ball till the 2nd half. Morrison 4 - Better than Neilson I suppose Pearson 0 - We were shit and that was aminly down to this shite formation he likes. We lacked width gain and we paid for it.
Guest Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 3s for everyone i reckon except Weale 5 Morro 5 Dyer 6 Kermo 5 Waggy 6
lildave3 Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Fuck ratings. Only player to come out nof today with ANY credit, is Waggy. And he'll be gone in January anyway.
dimmerchant Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Yann, Weale, Fryatt and Morrisson also did very little wrong.
lildave3 Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Yann, Weale, Fryatt and Morrisson also did very little wrong. Fryatt did everything wrong while he was actually on. Fucking gash.
Guest Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Fryatt did everything wrong while he was actually on. Fucking gash. I certainly didn't see him doing that
Daggers Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Weale - poor communication Neilson - absent Brown - fooking woeful Hobbs - suicidal Berner - Bambi on ice Wellens - Ridiculous Oakley - Injured horse with broken leg King - Amazing. Except he thought he was playing with Earnshaw. Kermorgant - Invisible Fryatt - Laughable Waghorn - Running around like a twat doesn't make you decent. Howard - Retired Dyer - Blind Morrison - Too late
Edmund Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Only player to come out nof today with ANY credit, is Waggy. And he'll be gone in January anyway. Was announced today he will most likely be here till the end of the season. http://www.thisisleicestershire.co.uk/spor...il/article.html
lcfc_jme Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Weale - 4. Left exposed all too often. Neilson - 1. Go back to Scotland you useless waste of space. Hobbs - 2. Brown - 1. Berner - 1. Oakley - 2. Wellens - 1. King - 1. Kermo - 2 (whilst on, anyway. Harsh that he was taken off). Fryatt - 1. He really isn't as good as everyone makes him out to be. Especially when it gets physical. Waghorn - 5. Our best player and he isn't actually ours. Losing him is incomprehensible at the moment. Subs: Lloyd - 2. STILL can't CUT INSIDE. Awful delivery. No end product. Howard - 1. Take up a coaching role, your playing days are finished. Morrison - 1. Manager: 0. Got it ALL wrong, start to finish. Needs to learn and have a plan B.

marbelladave Posted 5 December 2009 Posted 5 December 2009 Weale 6 Helped to keep it to just the 2 first half goals. Decent keeper, but still fails to dominate and control his area although, today, he was badly let down by his center backs. Neilson 4 A fairly limited player asked to do far more than he is capable of. Required to look after a good, pacey winger with no-one in front to support him. Tried to provide width going forward which left him out of position and hopelessly exposed. Brown 3 Faced (for once) by a quality forward line he panicked and was torn to pieces. Shouts a lot but does not communicate with either Hobbs or Weale which leaves us wide open. This has always been his limitation and it was ruthlessly exposed today. Hobbs 3 Misses Tunchev in a very big way. The calm and assured play we know he is capable of disappears when he plays alongside Brown, has happened several times this season but has not been fully exploited by the opposition. Berner 5 Hung out to dry by our setup that gave him no defensive support whatsoever, looked as if he was asked to get forward after the break which gifted Forest even more space. Kermorgant 5 Did reasonably ok for a center forward deployed in right midfield. A complete nightmare for him and none of it was his fault. His substitution was a joke, and a very bad one at that. Oakley 3 Largely ineffective. He is usually reliable at least, today he wasn't even that. Got forward a bit in the last quarter but since the game was all over this was irrelevant. King 5 Our most effective midfielder, but that really is not saying much. Got up and down fairly well but Forest were so in command it rarely mattered. Wellens 4 Back to his worst. Gave Berner no cover and did nothing going forward. Looked to be trying but to no discernable effect. Nothing like the player he was early in the season. Waghorn 5 Tried hard and ran hard but with no service worth mentioning this was largely a waste of time. Fryatt 3 One of his disinterested days. Often looks like this when he does not get the service, made even worse by his inability to get involved and make things happen either for himself or his strike partners. Howard 2 Simply no longer up for it. His presence actually made us worse, why on earth was Yanni not given a go up top? Dyer 5 After a slow start he did better than most despite Forest being in total control. At least he has some idea of how to play left midfield. Morrison 5 A marginal improvement over Neilson but Forest were cruising when he came on, pointless substitution. Pearson 3 Poor team selection, strange setup and seemingly panicked substitutions. As I have said before he needs a tactically sound coach to get the team working as a unit. Pearson is a 'big picture' manager, he needs someone to sort out the details.
Daggers Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Home fans: difficult not to cock up a victory like that, in good voice Davis > Pearson: He pulled his trackie bottoms down and soundly spanked him in front of 28,500 people Cops: wonderfully crap at letting people leave ("me oat") the car park Players: Walking off without saying thanks or sorry? C@nts. City support: why bother? Seriously. 2,800 of you didn't utter a peep until the wank leftsiderightside got rendered. As feeble as the team. As near as dammit £100,000 spent to do nothing...the next time I plan on being crap on a Saturday come and watch me in silence for that money. Shit: I hope you know you were.
Fox92 Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Weale - 3 - Thought he could have saved the 1st and 4th, but will have to see it on the TV first. Outfield players didn't really help him, but, the goalkeeper always gets the stick first. Neilson - 2 Brown - 1 - Tell me why he backed off from that ball? Constantly beaten for pace as expected. Hobbs - 3 Berner - 2 - Looked tired, caught out of position a couple of times. Didn't do much. Wellens - 4 - Not his best game. Oakley - 3 - Better than what we have been seeing, but again, out of position. King - 2 - Didn't see him that much, which says it all. Kermorgant - 3 - Out of position, again! Fryatt - 2 - Actually, did nothing. Didn't look bothered, didn't gamble much. Waghorn - 5* - Perhaps the best player. Howard - 3 - Offered nothing - Why didn't Nigel just tell Kermogrant to play up top for 10 minutes or so? Dyer - 2 - Offered nothing. Morrison - N/A - Wasn't in the ground at that point. Atmosphere was good. Nottingham Forest fans good, loved the You've lost that loving feeling followed by Mull of Kintyre bit. We should have something like that. Leicester fans were good, shame we was let down by the 14 players that put on a blue shirt. Any chance of our money back, boys? Stewards and Police were on edge too much. They kept on saying, 'we are not letting you out' before saying 'all you'll do is stand outside the ground!' What the hell! Thought I was going to get eaten by Police Dogs. The City Ground was immense as expected. My third visit there and it truly is a stunning ground.

calum_lcfc Posted 6 December 2009 Posted 6 December 2009 Morningggggggggg, I think everyone needs to take a step back before tearing into our lads from yesterday. There is no way to hide the fact we were piss poor but right from the start when we set up with a diamond in the middle of the park I could just tell that the forest lads at home would have field days picking us apart as we were no where near solid enough. As for Matty Fraytt, lay off the kid, everyone knows his only game plan is to play off the last defender being offside 9 times out of 10 and the fact was he couldn't do that yesterday as forest never really had any defending to do. I did disagree with Pearson taking off Kermit, to me he was shaping up ok and deserved to play longer, before we knew it we were 2-0 then an awful back pass made in 3 and we were out the game. As for Wayne Brown, well don't get me started if he makes a mistake against Bristol I will make it my personal task to get him out the team and out the club, its quite clear all he can do is a head a ball, the ball could be rolling on the floor and he would still choose to head it. twat. I was very impressed by the forest fans though, and the true city fans who stayed till the end blasting out, you never won league one, that put a smile on face but at the end of the day it was like a bad day at the office then getting home to find out your Mrs is shagging your best mate, its all about the response now.
