Ozwin Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 We do need a proper DM. But I don't think Weso, as much as it pains me to say, is good enough for The Championship.

Ozwin Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 Fair point. We just need someone to sit in the hole and let Wellens and X do their thang.
maddog Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 We do need a proper DM. But I don't think Weso, as much as it pains me to say, is good enough for The Championship. Can't be any worse than the terrible trio. Our midfield is definitely the main problem area though, they are a total shambles. Perhaps because most of the time part of the midfield are being played out of position by Pearson. Combined with a slow attack we are so blunt. Our defence has been a shambles also for these 2 games, but we had the best defence in the Championship before the Forest game, they will undoubtedly bounce back and play well again. And our keeper is decent. Whats more frustrating is we need someone like Adams in the side with a bit of spark, or Gradel who is on fooking loan at Leeds to give us that extra something. And with Dj Campbell and Dickov scoring for Derby and Gradel for Leeds the last 4 days couldn't have gone any worse for us.
The Doctor Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 weso is a very good player. Underrated by some but solid (aussie version of Neilson then). The only question is about his injuries. Probably wouldn't be such a issue if he hadn't broken his leg twice in 9 months but is he able to stay fit for long enough to be of any use.

Simo86 Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 is he any worse then Oakley or Wellens (on current form)? Don't forget Andy King. (Although its easy to do as he goes missing every now and again)
martyn Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Would definitely be a case for recalling Wesolowski considering how the midfield is performing and the type of players it is calling out for. Whether he could last 30 minutes without getting crocked is another matter.

Kilworthfox Posted 9 December 2009 Author Posted 9 December 2009 Can't be any worse than the terrible trio. That's no way to talk about the three degrees!
Vo Rogue Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 Would definitely be a case for recalling Wesolowski considering how the midfield is performing and the type of players it is calling out for. Whether he could last 30 minutes without getting crocked is another matter. From stats in Scotland he is the only field player to have played every game this season along with being player of match numerous times. What is it with our loan players performing well when away from Leicester.
martyn Posted 9 December 2009 Posted 9 December 2009 I am aware that Weso has played a full season with Hamilton, and that by all accounts he's been their best player consistently. You just know however, that if we exercised a recall he'd be limping off within minutes of his first appearance back....this is Leicester after all. Also about loan players playing well. Wesolowski always looked good when he played, his catalogue of injuries simply prevented him from kicking on. I'm convinced he would have a lot to offer after an extended injury free run.
