I reckon this was always on the cards and Reading have acted prematurely considering a certain Darren Ferguson and other targets they may have had shortlisted could potentially be on their way to Sheff Wed.

Like with us it took Reading and their fans to get used to the style of football Rodgers like to play...presume they couldn't wait much longer.
