Not even going to lie, I thought this was about buiding things when Sam started it. Now I have no idea.

Think its more based on assumption and folklore than fact to be honest.... its not acceptable from anyone thats true but im sure theyre the same as any walk of life... good and bad ones etc - I wouldnt tar the whole Masonic membership with the same brush any more than Id tar any society with the same brush

Aye, that's why I said 'If' it's true as I don't know, but you seem rather defensive of them :dunno: Do they allow women to join? whistle.gif

Dont worry its pretty much a secret society of oldish men, usually in decent professions who meet up once a week and have traditional rituals and secret handshakes.

As they dont allow women to join its not something Il ever be involved in lol

Ah but IF it was true it wouldn't be generalisation it would be fact and apply to all Freemasons.

But as it's only me surmising and as we'll probably never hear the truth it just makes this idle chatter. As enjoyable as it's been I think I've reached my boredom level with it. :P

i'm relying on you :D

this could lead to "911 was an inside job " and all sorts

:D I hope so. We need a 'conspiracy' or 'secret powers' thread. I've been waiting for you to start one for ages!

I wish he'd hurry up and enlighten me!

Zingari's your man I think, I'm sure he knows alot about this stuff. People tend to think I'm just mental when I go on about it :D

I am gonna post some links and stuff soon though. I got loads of videos and books and am scanning through them to find me favourites.

Why would a Freemason denounce God? I was under the impression Freemasons had to be men of faith?

That's true. To become a Mason I'm sure that you have to believe in a Creator. They start off calling it 'The Great Architect of the Universe'. Plus, I'm sure they believe in re-incarnation :dunno: The higher levels certainly do. Because of this belief they have certain rituals for their funerals and make sure their coffins are facing a certain compass direction (the same direction as Muslims I think).

The higher levels (not sure about if there is anything in 1st level initiation about it) also believe in Satan, demons, jinn, angels and other unseen stuff. The chequered floor represents where our world and the unseen world intermingle. Sort of like a stargate thingy! Every Masonic ritual has to be performed on the chequered floor and the top folk do all-sorts of black magic. It's very interesting stuff.

There are many books written by the tip top Masons of the last 200 years on the subject of the unseen and 'God'. They are rare and hard to get hold of.

Couple of my Dads friends are Freemasons... ones a lawyer and the other an Accountant, they havent renounced God at all and arent in the least bit weird to be fair.

They do an awful lot for local charities by all accounts. I dont see the harm

The lower levels are fine. They are just normal folks who are asked to join. It's all about eyes and ears in the community I think at the lower levels, plus just being a drinking club or something like that. Most of the folk who are Masons (probably at least 96%) never get past the 3rd degree (certainly no higher than 13) and these are the ones who are just like you and me. But certain folk in the 'craft' get asked to move to very high levels and these are the folk who have big decision making power in all aspects of society (in all countries of the world bar 1 or 2). They can corrupt anything.

The higher they go the wierder the initiations get from what I've learned. It really is freaky deaky stuff.

P.S to folks. My Great Grandad was quite high in one order (I've seen his 'memorabilia') so I'm not trying to say masons are bad people. But the very top levels (32 and 33, maybe even 34 according to some - the hidden level) of some orders definately don't care in the slightest about us, and are willing to do anything (including commit atrocities against their 'own people') to achieve their goals. No conscience whatsoever. Can't say I'm too keen on those few if I'm honest :D

There are Jews and probably Hindus and Muslims in the masons as well.

Very true. There are lodges in all countries apart from 1 or 2. I'm sure Iran was one of the 2 countries without a lodge (an official one anyway). The other country might have been Mugabes Zimbabwe :dunno: I gonna try and find out again.

It's a worldwide club and the most corrupt or cold hearted in the club get to the top in each country.

Hey I never said they were harmfull or any sort of threat. I just said the stuff they get up to together is a bit odd.

The bloke I mentioned before (ten years we've worked together, I know him quite well) spilt with his mrs as a direct result of joining and started saying there is no god about 6 months back. That's not to say all freemasons do this tho....just this 1 guy.

Gunna laugh with him 'bout this thread on Monday (and take the p*** as per usual). :giggle:

It is very odd, you're right. I've got a few dvds and some of the ceremonies are freakyfied.

I don't think your mate will get asked to move to higher levels cos he talks too much!

Probably as good a place as any to get an insight , our very own David Icke

http://www.davidicke.com/forum/showthread.php?t=86662

Icke is perfect for learning about the basic workings of the craft. He explains the different levels and the structure well in one of his books. Can't remember which one.

But on a few subjects I think he talks a fair bit of crap and this tends to take away the respect he should have! He obviously has some trusted contacts who are not who he believes they are in my opinion.

He talks alot of sense about vaccines aswell.

There are women lodges Lou so you might get a chance (not that I think you'd enjoy that sort of thing)! Women just aren't allowed in mens lodges and vice versa. It's a bit like Islam in it's segregation of the sexes part.

I always thought there were no women masons until I saw an episode of Cash in the Attic or something like that and they were at a womans lodge. I then looked into it and it's true! :D

A bit of food for thought here being as we're on secret societies. Did you know that Barack Obama is related to George Bush? Or Winston Churchill?

If seeing this family tree doesn't make you wonder about our so-called democracy then nothing will!

If you don't want to watch the whole vid then the bloodline bit is 2.50-4.15

I've watched all 50 parts of this fricker. Entertaining stuff I tell thee. Boring now and then but overall it's quality even if you think it's a load of bollocks. It's a perspective you don't hear about everyday! A couple of episodes about contacting demons and all that business shat me up cos I believe in all that shaz :D

having watched many family history programmes, and that, in the past; if you go back far enough you'll find someone like me is related to someone like daggers!

Isn't citing Youtube the new equivalent of calling someone a Nazi?

i think citing youtube just proves you can type '*insert prejudice* bad' in the search engine
