I know he wasnt our player at the time (which is why I put it in this forum), but thought some of you might like to vote for him. Jimothy Posted 6 February 2010 Posted 6 February 2010 Some blinders in there. I'll vote for Weale because he plays for City. But if I was voting on merit, I'd be stuck. Watching them again. Simon Cox is a brilliant goal, the bring down then the lob. McCann for S****horpe is almost Gerrardesque. Alexander for Millwall is a stunning goal. But Nicky Maynard would win it. When I saw that goal first time I saw stunned, and my opinion hasn't changed. It's different, improvised and perfectly executed. Alot of those goals are simular, good but simular. Non are like Maynards. Still voted for Weale though.

Remember Pooley scoring in a shoot out, sadly it was after he had left and was playing for Brum. Right in the top corner. Some cracking goals in there, Cox's was amazing.

Samilktray Posted 13 February 2010 Posted 13 February 2010 How has Weales goal been nominated for this!? Its a scrappy header, Cox's was superb, type of finish you'd expect from Wayne Rooney.
