Finally located my student card. Just have a feeling they are going to ask for proof tomorrow.

Just what I didn't want to hear, any idea what happens if you get caught? pay the extra cash?

Hope their isn't too many of the flask army in attendance.

I don't want you getting in trouble with the Sheffield stewards again.

Wondering if anyone could help me here. I have purchased a ticket for tomorrows game a week ago, but my friend has decided he wants to come now and wants to get a ticket on the gate tomorrow. Does anyone know if it will be a unreserved seating game, and if not do you think will be able to sit together??

The tickets on the turnstiles are for the old leppings lane lower tier! Citeh fans who already have tickets will be in the upper tier which has seperate entrances and gangways! you could struggle to sit with your pals. theres 8 of us going and 6 already have tickets so two of us are just gonna have to go wild in the lower tier on our tod!

Only the TV games you get them lot avoiding it lately. Even fooking Middlesbrough away on a Tuesday night was sitting.

In fairness, that was mainly down to the crap stewarding rather than the Flask Brigade. If you'd got yourself to the back you would've been able to stand.

Can't wait for this now.

True, I've started moving to the back lately anyway. How was the standing at Barnsley? It's normally everyone there but I missed it this year due to illness. I just generally think our standing this season has been as bad as I can remember away from home.

Pretty substandard. Unreserved seating and not a steward in sight but it was still only about the back 3rd of the stand. Definitely been the worst season I can think of in terms of our away support, plenty of games havent been a patch on last time round.

I don't get it though. The two times I've been we took around 4k-5k and from what I remember, everyone stood. Where have all these fans gone? I don't understand it at all.

In numbers our away support has been decent, and we can be pretty noisy but I can only think of two away games in which everyone has stood.

Didn't have 100% either of those times but the block on the right stood all the way down to the front so it looked a bit like that depending on where you were. Does seem a fair few lads that used to be permanent fixtures on the back rows have fvcked off though, some faces I aint seen all season.

Yes just go to the back if you want to sit/stand together, people down front want their allocated seats but certainly in the past few seasons in the back half of ends allocated seats mean Fu ck all. Think forest is the only time I've stood in front of mine in a good few years.

If the option of the lower exists I'll jib down there in an instant.

Its mad with our fans though, I just can't understand why any fan would want to sit on their arse for ages in the car, followed by another 90 minutes of sitting in silence and then sitting for ages on the way home, a few years ago was the first time I stood (I'm 16 btw) and regarding my opinion on standing and sitting, I haven't looked back since. I'm 99% sure the standing will be awful tomorrow.

Just move to the back and you wont have to sit. Ive not sat an away game for years and I dont intend to either.

Aye, will be proper bloo army. Gunna swap my ticket for lower tier if I can, always flat out average up there, at least it'll make a change.

Like the South Yorks Police, the stewards are a bunch of jobsworth twunts. Last time we had tickets on sale on the day for the lower tier, they wouldn't let us swap. Their excuse was it was (at the time) cheaper in the lower tier, and I said I was prepared to forego the £2 refund, but they still refused. "Yer tickets for t'upper tier, that's where yer'll be sitting", they said.

Yeah the stewards at Hillsborough are known clowns - apparently they refused entry to a Plymouth fan because he had had a pint beforehand.

Having said that, me and Tommeh have stood in Leppings Lower with no mither this season.

You'll be fine, I doubt many people go on there own so there should be plenty of empty pairs of seats. They do it with the intention of, you know, everyone sitting down. ;)

Speak for yourself - I stood all game! :P

Right, Ive had a shit 2 weeks and if ANYONE tries to stop me standing tomorrow they will pay with their lives. Fact
