Stuliasz Posted 15 May 2005 Posted 15 May 2005 What are Leicester fans' opinions on Wolves? They seem to be mirroring us in terms of achievements over the past two years. Do you like them or not and why?
Steven Posted 15 May 2005 Posted 15 May 2005 Wolves think they are a bigger and better Club than they really are. The only good thing they have doen in the last twenty years was to persuade PT to pay 5 miilion for Akimbadbuy. How many years have they spent in the PL?
Durnerz Posted 15 May 2005 Posted 15 May 2005 They are probably one of the most if not THE most jammiest club in the entire 4 divisions, always seem to get what they dont deserve.
TornadoShaunUK Posted 15 May 2005 Posted 15 May 2005 mirroring our achievments my ass.. I dont see them winning 2 coca cola cups in three years B) atleast we can say we have won some sort of trophies in recent times.. plus we weve been in europe a few, and we may be a premiership/div 1 yo-yo club - but atleast we have been in the top league more than just once.. Wolves are not a big side.. but.. they do have a nice stadium, I will say that much

TornadoShaunUK Posted 15 May 2005 Posted 15 May 2005 Ive never been to a football match there.. I went to see Bon Jovi there a few years back and it seemed alright to me back then.. The stadium is built on a slope I believe, see you could peak in and get a bit of a view of the pitch from one of the security gates..
Marcoos Posted 15 May 2005 Posted 15 May 2005 We are missing the point here... TornadoShaunUk went to a Bon Jovi concert Ban him from the site immediately for the man clearly has no taste...
Frenzied Posted 16 May 2005 Posted 16 May 2005 One of my worst clubs. I think I get that sentiment from the time they hammered us 5-0 or 5-1 at their place, together with the Mcghee saga.
Guest Posted 16 May 2005 Posted 16 May 2005 As already mentioned, they think they're bigger than they are, because of what happened many decades ago. A bit like the Treehuggers, in that respect. Nowadays, they are nothing much to be honest. But then again so are we.
Knighton Matt Posted 16 May 2005 Posted 16 May 2005 i've got nothing against wolves to be honest bit of a nothing part of the country (the black country) i've never met anyone that actually lives there! maybe its a government cover up and there's secretly nuclear testing there or something?

kenny Posted 16 May 2005 Posted 16 May 2005 Sleeping giant................................................nuff said.
connolly19 Posted 16 May 2005 Posted 16 May 2005 Wolves are a very flukey side, they have one class player, Hi Kyeon Seol, but apart from that they are distinctly average. Glenn Hoddle gets them to play a very effective style of football which helps them grind out results, although recently they have been playing great football. Next season they are my tip to finish top of the league, with Leicester in second place.
