In the February 20, 2010 issue of the UK PSM3 Magazine, God of War III was given a perfect score of 20/20. According to the editorial, it is "simply one of the best games of all time." 5 years from now when people look back at the best releases on PS3, this will be top 5 easy. The intro starts off where 2 finished with the Titans climbing Olympus and from gameplay vids looks absolutely stunning. Day one purchase for sure. Discuss people.

Guest Posted 21 March 2010 Posted 21 March 2010 Fcukin brilliant! Highly addictive, spent about 3 hours on it yesterday and managed to defeat a couple of gods. Looks like it's got enough to keep you busy for a while. Decent opportunity to upgrade weapons etc. too definite 8.5-9/10 at least

As for game of the year, it will take a superhuman effort to beat Mass Effect 2 this year imo. On PS3, I have no doubt it's game of the year. But taking 360 into account, I'm not so sure.

In what way could it have been better?

The game is stunning. I'm quite a way through it now, but don't want it to end, but really want to know how it finishes.

It's more of the same really, but that's no bad thing. The only thing that's massively improved are the graphics, which are outstanding.

The Reverend Posted 15 May 2010 Posted 15 May 2010 I'd never played a God of War game until a couple of days ago when I played the GoW3 demo. So I ordered the GoW Collection (GoW1 & 2) remastered for the PS3, cost me £16 off eBay. So I'm of course going to play through both of those anf get the GoW3. I've decided I quite like playing games in order (did the same with Bioshock 1 & 2, played one after the other), so I'm looking forward to it. The opening couple of hours of GoW1 is brilliant, action packed, tough bosses, innovative use of the camera and a good narrative. I just hope I wont be bored after playing 1 & 2! I'm sure that wont be the case though. Anyone know how long 1 & 2 are hours wise?
