Benji Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Cameron's driver didn't go around the roundabout properly, call the police... come on results this is boring!
Head Honcho Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Cameron's driver didn't go around the roundabout properly, call the police... come on results this is boring! Ha I noticed that too.............bit sad really
FoxyPV Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 It won't get exciting until about 2am or so. My step daughter has a crush on Nick Robinson
Legend_in_blue Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 I can't believe that in a supposedly civilised and democratic country it is actually possible for a citizen such as myself to be denied the right to vote So you haven't followed clear guidelines on how to cast your vote. I can't believe that in a supposedly civilised and democratic country it is actually possible for a citizen to be denied the right to buy something once a shop has closed? ...Numpty.
Fosse Boy Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Cameron's driver didn't go around the roundabout properly, call the police... come on results this is boring! Makes Sunderland look like a right bunch of twunts for rushing their ballots through though. Morons.
Jon the Hat Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 What crap. It is not acceptable to arrive at 9.15 and not be able to vote. That is pathetic on behalf of the organisers and people have every right to complain.
Guest Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Just saw a woman interviewed in Sheffield. Said she passed the polling station at 6 after work and it was quiet. Fair enough if she went home, had dinner etc. But then she said she went back at 7 and then 8 and it was quiet then. At 9:15 she went back and it was busy. Why they hell didn't she go in at 7 or 8, like you say it takes 2 minutes. I had to question her thought process on this too. Had 4 opportunities to get in the queue and gambled thinking the queue would go down. She could clearly see it was busy, if her vote meant that much surely she would've got in the bleeding queue earlier knowing the time that the polls close. Clearly not right that people can't vote but I found this a strange process
Jordan Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 It won't get exciting until about 2am or so. Surely there are many constituencies where the outcome should be in no doubt--why don't the networks just call those now?
FoxyPV Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Peter Robinson has been voted out - the Alliance (NI version of Lib Dems) took his seat!!! Imagine Cameron or Brown being voted out of their constituency - he's the First Minister. made my night
Ford Super Sunday Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 WOW Robinson loses hi seat in Belfast E Ok, not a major shock after the scandal, but a 22.9% swing to Alliance!
Guest Bilo Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Peter Robinson has been voted out - the Alliance (NI version of Lib Dems) took his seat!!! Imagine Cameron or Brown being voted out of their constituency - he's the First Minister. made my night Huge result for Northern Ireland really.
Head Honcho Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Peter Robinson has been voted out - the Alliance (NI version of Lib Dems) took his seat!!! Imagine Cameron or Brown being voted out of their constituency - he's the First Minister. made my night No surprise really. He should have resigned months ago.
FoxyPV Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 This is huge as it has implications for power sharing and devolution as a whole. yes, it really is that pathetic over here.
FoxyPV Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 No surprise really. He should have resigned months ago. It's a massive shock. He should have resigned months ago but tribal politics never really allow for change. The TUV did their job as they split the hardline Unionist vote and allowed Long in by 50 or votes.

Are voters in East Belfast that predictable? Not anymore they ain't.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 First Tory target seat taken, 135th in their target list as well apparently and a bellwether.
Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 If the results and swings keep going, the Tories could give Labour a bit of a kicking tonight.
Jordan Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Mr Cameron just finished his Guinness and is off to the count... is his next drink a celebratory champagne?
Fosse Boy Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Little swing from Tory to LD in Torbay. Gives me hope for Harborough later on.
Head Honcho Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Looks like the House of Parliament is gonna be full of split arses in the morning.
FoxyPV Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Really? Homophobia, marital affairs and dodgy land deals! Are voters in East Belfast that predictable? Not anymore they ain't. Yes really - he's the joint most powerful politician in NI Thank fook though. Sylvia Herman gets elected as an independant as she wouldn't serve under the tories (trust me that's an indictment). This is shaping up to be such an interesting election over here
Guest Bilo Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 Gordon Brown looks and sounds like a man who knows he's headed for defeat. Blunkett's admitted a Tory majority is likely as has Paddy Ashdown. I think it's over for Labour tonight, it's just a matter of whether Cameron can get a large enough majority to govern fully now.
Guest Posted 7 May 2010 Posted 7 May 2010 I just wanna know what the bloke out of the first Matrix film was doing standing in Kirkcaldy and Cowdenbeath?
