Matt Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Nothing like a racist insult aye .........and you may want to look up David Cameron's background before you decide that you don't want a "sweaty jock" in number 10! Erm who you calling a racist? Firstly I said "sweaty sock"....of which I always understood was rhyming slang for a Scot. Everything is seems to be racist now though
Head Honcho Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Erm who you calling a racist? Firstly I said "sweaty sock"....of which I always understood was rhyming slang for a Scot. Everything is seems to be racist now though It wasn't exactly a term of endearment though was it?
Matt Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 It wasn't exactly a term of endearment though was it? No, but I don't have a very endearing opinion of him.
Head Honcho Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 No, but I don't have a very endearing opinion of him. Yeh your life must be so tragic!
Matt Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Yeh your life must be so tragic! Huh? Where's that come from?
davieG Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 No, but I don't have a very endearing opinion of him. So why not just slag him off rather than whole Nation of Scots?
Matt Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 So why not just slag him off rather than whole Nation of Scots? Oh FFS! I call all scots sweaty socks, As I said I always understood it was rhyming slang not racist...What about Poms - The aussies call us that, Is that racist? Bloody hell, I come from Nuneaton everyone at work comes from Hinckley, I'm not sure where or even what it relates to (I've done searches cannot find where is comes from or the reason for it anywhere) but they all call people from Nuneaton, Codders. fooking racists. ...Or maybe i'm not so fragile, insulted easily, touchy, petty, and can take a joke
MC Prussian Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 When are the first results expected to come out? Tonight already?
dandannieldanok Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 When are the first results expected to come out? Tonight already? First one expected 11ish tonight, then just through the night.

Vacamion Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 These debates must have prompted a bigger turnout - I voted at 7.10am today and managed to convince the wife to vote for the 1st time. I won't say who I voted for, but it wasn't the SNP and it wasn't the BNP ! I just don't like "NP"s. By the way, I'm not touching the "sweaty socks" debate with a ten foot pole
Fosse Boy Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Wonder how this Channel 4 Alternative Elction Night's gonna work out. Reckon I'll watch it until 10. Watching with a Labour voter and a Tory voter tonight, so we've got the Big Three covered between us. Could get interesting later on!

Everyone has a couple of drinks, then all of a sudden you are having an inter-party orgy.
Fosse Boy Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 [/b] Everyone has a couple of drinks, then all of a sudden you are having an inter-party orgy. Best case scenario.
purpleronnie Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Labour voters do tend to come out of the woodwork when theres a GE, so although no-ones predicted it I wouldnt be surprised if Labour got in again.
Fosse Boy Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 I hate this bollocks that goes on in Sunderland, always wanting to be the first to declare. All it proves is that you've had a low turnout and a massively apathetic electorate in your constituency. Absolutely pathetic, wish the media would stop paying attention to them.

Yeah it's just publicity whoring really. Not even as if it's an interesting constituency in terms of result, a braindead ape wearing a Newcastle shirt would win if it wore a Labour rosette.
Head Honcho Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Labour voters do tend to come out of the woodwork when theres a GE, so although no-ones predicted it I wouldnt be surprised if Labour got in again. I've always thought Labour supporters were more apathetic than Tories. The conservatives should get more seats comfortably just not enough to form a government on their own.
MC Prussian Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 First BBC stats have the Tories win about a hundred seats, but miss out on the majority in the house by about twenty seats: LAB 255 (-101) LIB 59 (-3) TOR 307 (+109) OTH 29 (-1) UK voters disappoint me if this hung-parliament scenario would turn out to be the real deal. Too scared to vote for a change, so they go for the Conservatives, which are as bad as Labour.
Budweiser Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 Find it hard that voters stick by labour after the last 13 years. Just incredible.
Jon the Hat Posted 6 May 2010 Posted 6 May 2010 1-0 to Labour They should enjoy it while it lasts. I am going to call this - going to be a small majority for the Tories. Lib Dems will do better than the exit poll suggests as well.
