AfricanBluebird Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 What a complete joke that was. Another prime example of Leicester losing to a piss poor side. Gabor Gyepes is a cheat, it just proves its not a sport at all, its a money influenced joke and I think the fact players will morallesly do things like this proves there's something not right. The referee was awful, and his officials, I just don't get it anymore, how can the standard be so poor? That was clearly over the line, theres no way the linesman could miss it. I'm just thankful that Blackpool have to play Newcastle, Forest and Doncaster. To be honest it sounds like you are having a run of poor officials like we have had recently..... they got so much wrong you start to wonder. Against Palace for instance we had a blatent penalty turned down and to add insult to injury Bothroyd got booked for diving. Luckily we managed a win against them and had the flip side of bad refereeing when your 'goal' was not given. I'm sure you'll get some luck and correct decisions soon! As for the us being a piss poor side I'm sure you'd love to be piss poor and win games at this stage of the season rather than being piss poor and not winning games. We have played some really decent stuff at stages this season but for us now it's all about getting into the play-offs. Gypes took one for the team - yes cheated even.. but was punished accordingly - this is nothing to do with money influencing the game, it happens up and down the country (world even) every week whether it's parks football or the premier league... no one likes the opposition scoring and I bet Gypes would have done the same thing if it had been a Sunday league game..... doesn't help you I know. Good luck in staying in the play-offs.... neither of us seem good enough to win them if we get there but at least there is some hope.

Lineker's Left Foot Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 Admittedly it was hard to stomach last night, but even if we lose to the Baggies on Friday night and Blackpool win - giving us a safety of 1 point still - we are then presented with three games that we should get seven points from. The other teams - Blackpool, Doncaster, Sheff.Utd, Reading, Middlesbrough - IMO are bet are all wishing they were in our shoes - they'll still have blips towards the end IMO. Can't see us losing more than FOUR games on the trot tbh.

Thanks Toye Story Cardiff City Fan His name's Jobber, Lee Jobber. I presume the guy was in the Santa suit because the fixture was originally meant to be played on the 19th December. Enjoyed my trip to your ground all in all, nice to see the whole of the Ninian Stand standing as far as I could see, though it could do with being a bit louder for more of the game.

It's the Canton that were mostly standing. The Ninian stand is the one to the right of the away fans that had about 100 children standing.
Matt Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 Didn't read this thread or post in it last night was too angry. Sounded like we played well in the 2nd half and we're unlucky not to get a point let alone a win. Just a question though - How feckin' long before technology will be used? How many mistakes have to be made before technology will be used? I know it doesn't matter as the decision has been made and passed, nothing we can do about it, but if we missed out on the playoffs by 1 point can we look at pointing the finger at last nights officials (I haven't seen the incident, so can't really comment but from what i've heard people seem quite certain it went over)? If we were 3 point's short of the playoffs i'll be point the finger at the officials of the Coventry game for a clear offside goal given (You could say was our first over? Yes I think it was - Was their goal offside - No doubt about it) I know its if, buts and maybes, but something needs to be done, I know alot of people say it's swings and roundabouts, they 'even themselves out over a season' I don't agree. It just tells you all you need about referee when we sit here after matches and 9 times out of 10 the referee has made a wrong decision which is crucial to the game. DB11 I want your thoughts particularly. I'm not slagging off the officials, I'm slagging of the authority for not helping them - They need help, however they make the mistake thus getting the abuse while the authority hide behind the officials and preach that we must respect the officials.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 31 March 2010 Posted 31 March 2010 I woke up feeling quite depressed about it all, which is unusual for me as I'm normally very good at not worrying about stuff I can do nothing about. I reminded myself about what really upsets me by simply coming to work
