Cardiff v Leicester - Post Match

I hate saying such things, but it's more a case of how many West Brom will beat us by. I got this down as defeat for Leicester all ends up. I just hope it's a competitive 1-0 defeat rather than a pisstake 5-0. Get these out the way, then try and find a way to beat QPR, then destroy Watford and Peterborough (by a huge margin of one goal), a draw against Middlesbrough would also do it.

Nice to see you're still your same old positive self.

Sounded fantastic 2nd half, but shit 1st half. Just seen the highlights on SSN. Thought it was poor defending from us, and could've been avoided. Waghorn's corner looked well over the line. Hopefully we can carry the 2nd half performance, into the tough away game at WBA. Point would be great, win would be MASSIVE.

I've just done that BBC predictor, and i was really harsh on us, and really unharsh on the sides around us. Final playoff place came to 72 points.

On that, i reckon realistically 70 points will get us a play off place, meaning we need a further 9 points, from our final 6 points.

If we win all our remaining games (scoring shitloads of goals along the way) and West Brom lose all their remaining games (conceding shitloads along the way) we could still get automatic promotion.

You heard it here first folks.

Cant see us losing 4 game in a row. Hopefully a draw at least against wba.

With Leicester it is either easy or touch and go. Seen it time and time again.

Still sure will will make the play offs.

Hopefully a good winning run will take us into the play offs in a rich vein of form.

I dont rate Brown that much but thinking about it, we have let in less and looked better at the back when he has played. Maybe he should come back in? We're missing Berner though that is the major problem.

If we win our home games we'll make the playoffs but dont want to be relying on those to much. Why not give Adams a start for once, players like him will surely want to prove themselves so will most likely put in a good performance.

I think if we get one win in the next couple of games we will be fine but I'm not banking on it.

Seem to playing one half at the moment, Cov first half, Cardiff 2nd half...

3 defeats on the spin equals a monumental balls up but it goes to show how average this league is when we can still afford to lose again on Friday and still sit in the play offs.

Bruno can't be far away now and I heard enough about Spearing tonight to suggest Oakley won't be in the first X1 on Friday,

Still reckon 9 points will be enough.

I know we've got a game on Friday but I'm already nervous about QPR on Monday. Massive game.

After West Brom we've got QPR, Preston, Peterboro, Watford, Middlesboro. I'd like to think we can get enough points from those to secure a play off place and if we don't then we don't deserve to be there. All depends how much confidence we lose on the back of potentially 4 straight defeats.

Disappointing but at HT I'd accepted we had lost, so to come back into it and show some spirit is pleasing.

Anything against WBA is a bonus, after that they are all 'winnable' games where I feel confident we can get a win.

Chins up.

As per usual we turn up for half of the game.

As per usual we now have to get points off the top sides.

As per usual we'll cock up this Friday as we're on the TV.

I am sitting in Denmark wondering why we are blowing it? We never seem to play a full match of quality. 1st half against Cov was very very good, 2nd awful. This seems to be an all too familiar pattern. We are unable to "turn the screw" and kill of matches. Don`t the players care? Don`t they have the ability to keep it going for 90 minutes? I am puzzled and confused by the sudden lack of form. Cardiff down to 10 men for something like 30 minutes and we are unable to take advantage...

I know we are just up from League One and expectations are high, but if we do well expectations will always be high with the fans - and this is the way it should be - and without being negative we are more often than not left disappointed - sorry but 1 point in 4 matches (probably 5 - WBA coming up) does not warrant Prem. League ambitions and we are in a very deep crisis at a very critical point and time. Contingency actions to lack of form?????????????????????????

I`d like to be positive but find it very difficult to find these elements at present.

with 6 games to go we are 4 points inside the play-offs, it's somewhat cliche but I challenege anyone to find a city fan who wouldn't of bit your hand off to take that at the start of the season! Now is not the time to reflect on the last few games or even the season as a whole, now is a time to look at the next 6 games as cup finals! Lets get behind the boys because we're leicester city and foxes never quit! Friday night I'll be there cheering on the boys once again! COME ON BLUE ARMY!!

Just watched the highlights.

There's a special place in hell reserved for people like Gyepes.

Not that I'd be complaining if a Leicester player had done that. But still, absolutely fooking disgraceful

poor first half - could have done better with their goals. Waggy's corner was clearly over the line.

Showed some fight second half but need to keep that up for 90 minutes to make the play-offs.

I'm fed up of people saying we're blowing it.

We've had three tricky games (two away), and we're still 4 points inside the playoffs.

Fast foward past WBA and we're still at least a point inside the playoffs, with as good a run in as anyone could hope for. Other sides competing for our spot still have to play each other/the bigger sides. We don't (Apart from Boro).

We'll be fine.

Also, on Waggy's corner that went over the line. I think it looked clearly over. And the linesman should have NO excuse. As it was a corner, he should be in line with the goal line looking out for things like that.

6 games left.

It's going to be a very exciting end to the season.

We still need to be looking at Swansea and not over our shoulders, we're only 1 point behind them with a better goal difference. Lets hope Cardiff beat them.

Absolutely gutted tonight, the lads did well second half and put alot of effort in but it wasn't to be (partly thanks to shit officials). Not sure who I want to play on Friday but I really hope Bruno is fit and ready for that one. Vaughan sounded pretty lively so wouldn't mind to see a bit more of him. Whoever plays, just work your socks off and I'll be happy.

Wish I could kip til Friday morning cos I can't take 3 days of full blown nerves before West Brom. Then QPR which will be very tough, oh the pressure is intense.

still not got a point from a top 6 side away this season.

and those moaning about Waggy's "goal" not being given just remember a couple of weeks ago Andy King got 1 that never crossed the line

Got ten in total away from home at the four sides immediately below us though.

That could prove crucial.

Not strictly true. We got a point at Watford and three points at Blackpool. They've both been in a top 6 position at some point in the season so technically you're wrong.:P

True, but we had payback for that in the same game when they got the equaliser that was four and a half miles offside.
