QPR a season defining game?

Recommended Posts

With only 5 games left and on a rotten run this is City's biggest game of the season and it's time for the lads to stand up and be counted! A win and we are back on course a draw just a bit of confidence a loss absoloute disaster!

Is this the game that shapes are run-in!?

It's a huge game yes but is it a season defying game? no not yet....

i'm not quite sure how a game can defy a season?

Define - yes, defy - no

Still it's lookig like a key game along with peterborough and watford. We need to be ruthless in dismissing the relegation threatened teams - don't show any sympathy.

Blood and guts?

i'm not entirely sure what you mean.

Basically we've got to look at them as being absolutely hopeless (which in a way they are - that's why they're down there) and rather than do the usual city thing of gifting them points to help them out just tear them to pieces and help ourselves.

Did anyone watch Football League Weekend yesterday? Well the guest was Neil Warnock and he said that he would do Nigel Pearson a favour on their visit to the walkers.

Mandaric bribe ftw

season defining? not really from my expectations and hopes at the start of the season it's been a massive success no matter what happens in the next few weeks.

We already know our players weaknesses and strengths.

The problem is that our weakness as a team is not being able to score.

The reason we can't score is because all of our best players do most things well except shoot a fookin ball straight.

If you ask me they should take a leaf out of Beckham's book and tie a tyre around the crossbar and spend a week trying to get the ball through the fooker.

QPR was a testament to what we could be when the team is in high spirits and their fans aren't slagging them off for every little mistake.

I know fans have the right to, but it will always end up for the worse, as i think we are seeing now. Although our lot sounded fantastic today. (work that one out :dunno: )

I also acknowledge that a couple of our players are barely good enough to be in a Championship club, never mind Premiership. But i think they know that already. It must affect their play. They know they will be at another club in 4 months time if we get promoted.

All we need to do is practice some good old, back to basics honing on shooting skills and we'll be o.k. because at the moment it looks like our players have all got bent feet when they shoot for goal.

Jordandinhio be mesmorised at this then!

im sorry, but on his performances for us we must have his twin that plays rugby rather than football because hes not come close to finding that form again :giggle:

yeah, on the baggies display today this could become a reality on monday. he might become our knight in shining armor and salvage our play off place :)

I'm just thinking back to last season when we went on that bad run towards the end, not as bad as this but a lot of people thought we were gonna lose out to Posh it got very close but then we went to Hereford and yeah the rest of the season went pretty well

If we can just get this win against QPR the difference to the players confidence will be immense, it could be perfect for us :fc: Or is that waaay too optimistic?
