JimmyJam Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 With the remaining games being so important I think we need to keep some consistency if we can. I think consistency could bring back some confidence. For me the line-up for atleist the next 3 games has to be. Weale Solano Hobbs Morrison Berner © King Spearing Wellens Gallagher Waghorn or Vaughn Dyer or N Guessen I no I have just contradicted my self by saying we need consistency and they changed the team since West Brom but I think I can justify my line up. Oakley, Neilson and Howard have to be dropped, back to 4 3 3. Play Solano if at all possible he may of lost some pace but positioning and service from the back pisses all over Neilson. Gallagher must start as he is one of our most creative players I no he can be a bit hit and miss but I think he is to good for the bench he is a player that can create that chance or score that goal out of o where. Give Vaughn more then 10 minutes he looks like he wants it and when he has been on he has nearly scored in every appearance. Find a captain i.e Berner who has some passion and commitment someone who can get the players going. I still think we can do it but only if the players want it, too many times in the last few games we have been second to the ball, lack of shooting at the goal to often trying to pass our way in to the net. I no alot of what I have to say is nit-picking put its the little things at this stage of our season is going to make the difference no point being up for 1 half of a game they got to want it for 90 minutes. Come on Leicester finish the job.
dilko2008 Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner King Spearing Wellens Dyer Howard Waghorn Howard gives more passion and effort than Paul G or Vaughan who quite frankly dont look interested
dandannieldanok Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Morrison Hobbs Brown Berner Gallagher Oakley Wellens King Dyer Waghorn ......is what I'd go for.
l444ry Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Bring Brown back to organise the defensive side of the team. They leak too many goals with the Hobbs/Morrison partnership.

lcfc"weasel" Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Why does Howard have to be dropped? He was one of our best players against West Brom My thoughts.
FoxyPV Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 I think we need to bring back Brown to strengthen the defence and put Morrison out to right back where he has been great. Go 4-4-2 and have Waghorn and Howard up front and Gallagher on the right (not his best position but he can deliver the ball). I'd go: Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Berner Gally Oakley King Dyer Waghorn Howard N'guessan, Adams and Spearing first three subs
JimmyJam Posted 3 April 2010 Author Posted 3 April 2010 The reason i want to drop Howard is because he doesn't take his chances I am not doubting his work ethic or passion but he missed two clean cut chances yesterday that he should of scored. The one thing we need to be doing at this stage of the season and especially against teams like West Brom is take our chances. Howard supply s useful flick ons but makes us play almost route one football banging aimless balls to him hoping he can pull off an assist. When he isn't on we play down the wings and run at people, we play on the ground and seem in my opinion to create more. Waghorn holds the ball up just as well as Howard and because of his size is penalized less for backing in where Howard is often unfairly penalized obviously he wins less in the air but is that where you want leicester to be playing? Its not that I don't like Howard I just think he has much more impact as a sub.

Howard missed two good chances against West Brom, but he wasn't the only one. Others had chances which probably should have been taken as well. Against West Brom even with Howard on the pitch we still managed to pass the ball around on the floor and look at how many runs Dyer went on. I don't think our lack of wing play is Howard's fault, it's more the fact that we have a central midfielder on the right. As for Waghorn, he is a great player and works hard but I don't think you can say he holds the ball up as well as Howard does. I felt against West Brom, Howard showed great passion and desire, which is what we need at the moment. I can understand where you are coming from but to play that well against the team 2nd in the division and to then be dropped would be pretty harsh. At this stage in the season we need more experienced players to step up and I feel Howard is one of them.
Lisburn Fox Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 ..............................................Weale Morrison................Hobbs................Brown.............................Berner .............................................Spearing/King .................Wellens...............................................King/Spearing Gallagher........................................................................ Waghorn/Dyer .........................................Howard/Waghorn If Dyer is fit Waghorn up front if not him/Gallagher can Support Howard. If Dver is Fit then the 3 Gallagher/Dyer/Waghorn can form an attacking 3 with 2 making a Midfield 5 when needed Logan, Solano, Howard/Kermongent, Oakley, Powell, Vaughn, N'Guesson. This is a good team and should put the points on the board we need, with the bench we have players who can come in and not be poor enough to effect the team. Hence no Mc Given, Nielson, Adams, Kermongent If Howard plays on the bench. As I do not see these lads as good enough to play at the top of the Championship. Just my thoughts I think NP will go for Weale Nielson Hobbs Morrison Berner Oakley Wellens King Dyer/Adams Howard Waghorn
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Get N'Guessan, Spearing and Vaughan involved if fatigue is taking it's toll on some of the players. Try and keep players fresh.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Bring Brown back to organise the defensive side of the team. They leak too many goals with the Hobbs/Morrison partnership. This. Not always Browns biggest fan, but we seem to let far too many in when he isnt playing. Put Morrison at RB. Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Berner Dyer King Wellens N'Guessan/Gally Waghorn Howard
Messi Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Morrison Brown Hobbs Berner Spearing Wellens King Gallagher Waghorn Dyer
calum_lcfc Posted 3 April 2010 Posted 3 April 2010 Weale Solano Hobbs Morrison Berner N'Gussen Wellens King Dyer Howard Waggy Simple as that Nigel haha Vaughan maybe deserves a start now?
Narborough_fox Posted 4 April 2010 Posted 4 April 2010 Right here we go... Brown back in and have our solid defence back which was so trusy until Brown got injured. Drop the donkey that is Oakley and let Spearing in see what he brings to the team. Play with some strike power but players that can also play in the air, I.E Kermogant he NEEDS a chance as with derby he wasn't involved enough along with some speed that could be deadly -------------------Weale--------------- Morrison Hobbs Bown Berner -----Spearing King Wellens------ ----------------Kermogant----------- ----------Vaughan----Waghorn---- However If this struggles change to a basic 4-3-3!
