Tom_LCFC Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 i'd be pissed of too, if i was garbage yh the "garbage" captain who stuck with us getting relegated and captained us to winning league one last year.
Jimmy Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 yh the "garbage" captain who stuck with us getting relegated and captained us to winning league one last year. he didn't "stick with us" no one bid for him, he was average last season as well but he managed to get a few goals along the way
Guest Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 recall dj? Oi! There's a time and a place, and indeed a thread for talking that sort of bollocks
Tony Pine Posted 21 April 2010 Posted 21 April 2010 yh the "garbage" captain who stuck with us getting relegated and captained us to winning league one last year. no the garbage one who has appeared this season, silly. this made me laugh: kopitecrash im just going off comments on a leichester forum. he's replaced someone called oakley in recent games. oddly he's playing on the edge of a diamond formation i think. http://forums.liverpoolfc.tv/showthread.php?p=3251594
MrSpaM Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 Jay's something we've been missing for a while, a natural winger instead of a CM or CF posing a makshift winger. Against watford he was making some really good runs up the wings, and delivering decent balls into the box. We should try and keep him once the seasons finished, i think if he'd have arrived hear at the same time Waghorn did we'd be hearing a lot more of the "sign him up" chants on match day. It's good to see that a lot of premiership clubs see us as a good place to send players out on loan too as well, we've pretty much had the pick of the crop this season looking back on it.

MrSpaM Posted 22 April 2010 Posted 22 April 2010 A natural winger? Well he was playing a lot wider than i've seen most of our midfield play this season, bar Dyer, especially last weekend, natural wingers probably the wrong wording, but some of his runs down the sides were quality.

Oakley will be 1 of our highest paid players seeing as we bought him from a premier league side at the time, if we'd of been offered anywhere near what we paid for him Milan would of snatched their hands off. The reason he's being criticised this season is simple his is playing crap and has been for a long time and he seemed to be undrop-able because of a bit of cloth he wore on his sleeve, its no coincidence that since he was taken out of the side we have improve
