Fox You Forest Posted 16 May 2010 Author Posted 16 May 2010 So many replays of previous wickets, every time I'm looking at the laptop or doing anything else but looking at the TV and they play one, every single time without fail today I've though another wicket has gone. Think I'm losing the plot. What's happening now?
Sparky Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Kieswetter and Pieterson leading the charge, come on boys !
davieG Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 It's been a long time coming and well overdue. Cracking team performance.
Guest Bilo Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Absolute thrashing in the end, nothing quite like thrashing the Aussies is there? Cracking achievement and hopefully not the last English sporting success of 2010.
Edmund Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 No we will not beat Australia. I'm still confident that we'll beat the Aussies, we've been on fire in this tournament. Walkers has had a mare I've lost every bet I've placed on the 20/20, I was going to bet the aussies yesterday but didnt and guess what.....I have bet the aussies to win the final, so congratulations to england!!!!!! The lucky run continues Unfortunately I missed the game but will catch the highlights later. Looks like we had a cracking start. Proud of the lads, they've played exceptionally well throughout this tournament. Hopefully this is the start of a new era.
Corky Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Terrific victory, thoroughly deserved for the energetic and aggressive cricket we played throughout the competition. Collingwood and the team should take great credit for this and hopefully we'll go on and win more trophies.
Fosse Boy Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010   Just a shame my stream was so up and down so I missed seeing the winning runs being hit. Still, fabulous stuff!
Fox You Forest Posted 16 May 2010 Author Posted 16 May 2010 Wonder if Freddy's on his way out there just for the celebrations. It not a real win unless you see someone pissing in a Downing Street garden.

Fosse Boy Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Sidebottom or Broad could Yeah,it's gott to be one of the quickies really. Wouldn't want that smug git Swann to do it.
Maybes Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Great performance throughout by the team. Now for the Football team to follow suit.....

Best chance we've got is if we are chasing less than 150 We still haven't chased a big score and I can see the Aussies chasing down whatever target we might set.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Fantastic performance. Would love to see a couple of these lads in the test side. Especially Morgan.
Peter File Posted 16 May 2010 Posted 16 May 2010 Well played to the Rupert Murdoch Select XI. I hope you enjoy your success.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 17 May 2010 Posted 17 May 2010 Pfft thought it was Australia v England not Australia v South Africa. Mickey mouse cup anyway no one cares about the t20 Well played England played well all tournament and deserved there win.

Mickey mouse cup anyway no one cares about the t20 Well played England played well all tournament and deserved there win. Yeah, no one cares about T20. The Ashes, for instance, are much more important. Now, who won that again? It seems to have slipped my mind...
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 18 May 2010 Posted 18 May 2010 My memory doesn't go back that far Alex, but I do know the Ashes is on in Novemberso I find out then.....probably be a 5-nil win to the Aussies
