leicesterfox86 Posted 18 May 2010 Posted 18 May 2010 I was playing on Football Manager the other day and was thinking about football games from the early days. I remember FIFA World Cup '94 with its little blocky characters that were difficult to control. The gameplay on that game was pretty torrid really but I remember it being great fun at the time. Apparently, there have been a lot of games that have been endorsed by footballers. Has anyone played any of them?
breadandcheese Posted 18 May 2010 Posted 18 May 2010 Gary Lineker's hotshots on the Amiga 500. Quality game made easy by running left and right up the pitch before heading on to the diagonal of the penalty box and shooting into the corner.
dandannieldanok Posted 18 May 2010 Posted 18 May 2010 Used to play this, really was a pretty shambolic game. I can't recollect what the player-manager bit of the game entailed, apart from it being not as exciting as you were hoping it would be.

AyewJoking Posted 19 May 2010 Posted 19 May 2010 Couldnt find the Emlyn Hughes European championship game which my mate and I used to play on his amiga 500/commodore. I remember being totally mesmerised by the graphics and the sheer joy and sense of achievement in scoring a goal.
