BoneDog Posted 1 August 2012 Posted 1 August 2012 I love a bit of early Madge. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwexPTV1_W4
sphericalfox Posted 5 August 2012 Posted 5 August 2012 Addictive. I quite like that. I was expecting a cameo from Derek Acorah in the video though. A bit disappointed with that.
Saxondale Posted 11 August 2012 Posted 11 August 2012 Underworld - And I Will Kiss From the 'Pandemonium' section of the Olympic opening ceremony. When this was broadcast live, my first thought was that it sounded like Jean-Michel Jarre. As a piece of music, it wouldn't have sounded out of place on Jarre's brilliant Revolutions album (one of my all-time favourites) had it been made today. This is apt, as it accompanied the section of the performance about our own industrial revolution. Brilliant.
sphericalfox Posted 20 August 2012 Posted 20 August 2012 I hate this song, but these guys' covers are boss. Not sure about their original songs, but they could easily make a living out of what they do and be reputable musicians.
Webbo Posted 29 August 2012 Author Posted 29 August 2012 Is that from an advert? I'd have never have guessed that was Ray Charles.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 31 August 2012 Posted 31 August 2012 You mention Ultravox and everyone thinks of Vienna, but I think that's one of their weaker songs. Many great tracks. http://youtu.be/XDqAlVlmBbU http://youtu.be/DoTmCvx3H7I
Raw Dykes Posted 8 September 2012 Posted 8 September 2012 You mention Ultravox and everyone thinks of Vienna, but I think that's one of their weaker songs. Many great tracks. I think the tracks you posted were ok. The Voice was quite good. However, I think they were all pretty forgettable when compared to Vienna, which is a good song. I reckon Vienna is their most famous track on merit.
