MC Prussian Posted 23 June 2010 Author Posted 23 June 2010 Uruguay vs South Korea Argentina vs Mexico USA vs Ghana Germany vs England Good luck against se Germans.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 June 2010 Posted 23 June 2010 Uruguay 2 South Korea 1 Argentina 1 Mexico 0 USA 1 Ghana 2 Germany 1 England 1 (guess who wins on penalties?)
VinceNoir Posted 23 June 2010 Posted 23 June 2010 This means that we will see USA, Ghana, Uruguay or South Korea in the semis!! I reckon it will be Uruguay, but I hope Ghana!
Asha Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 This means that we will see USA, Ghana, Uruguay or South Korea in the semis!! I reckon it will be Uruguay, but I hope Ghana! Makes you think really. Without that last minute USA equaliser, or with more goals of our own we would be inside that four and strong favourites to make the semis. As it stands, we'd have to get past Germany and (probably) Argentina to make the same stage.
purpleronnie Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 Uruguay 1 South Korea 0 Argentina 1 Mexico 0 USA 1 Ghana 0 Germany 1 England 0 This means that we will see USA, Ghana, Uruguay or South Korea in the semis!! I reckon it will be Uruguay, but I hope Ghana! If ghana keep playing so bad up front I cant see them beating the USA.
marbelladave Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 Anyone been doing their homework? Are yellow cards wiped off after the group stages or is that later in the competition? Who is the 'home' team on sunday? Germany as Group winners? Important this, we need to play in red! Anyone?

Not sure about disciplinary records being wiped clean after the group stage, I know that's the case with UEFA tournaments but not too sure about FIFA. If we get through this round, we'll be the away team again, meaning we'd wear red if we played Argentina as well.
Edmund Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 Has it really come to this? Hoping we play in red to win?
Guest Bilo Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 Has it really come to this? Hoping we play in red to win? Against a side that will destroy you with sheer luck if they can't outplay you, it's our only hope.

leicesterfox86 Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 Yes. I have watched our first 3 games... If it can make England play better... Let's play in red
marbelladave Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 If it can make England play better... Let's play in red Abso-fooking-lutely. Against the jammy Germans we need all the luck we can get!...
AyewJoking Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 Abso-fooking-lutely. Against the jammy Germans we need all the luck we can get!... I wanted England (all white) Germany (all black) Good vs evil
marbelladave Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 I wanted England (all white) Germany (all black) Good vs evil Cool... But just plain wrong...
Lillehamring Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 I wanted England (all white) Germany (all black) Good vs evil Racist.
Tilley Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 Yellow cards from group stages do not stand in knockout stages. Uruguay, Argentina, USA & England to progress.
MC Prussian Posted 24 June 2010 Author Posted 24 June 2010 Uruguay vs South Korea Argentina vs Mexico USA vs Ghana Germany vs England Paraguay vs Japan Netherlands vs Slovakia
Lillehamring Posted 24 June 2010 Posted 24 June 2010 Uruguay vs South Korea Argentina vs Mexico USA vs Ghana Germany vs England Paraguay vs Japan Netherlands vs Slovakia i wouldn't be surprised to see at least a couple of upsets there. no certainties anyway, at least not the way results have been going.
Tilley Posted 25 June 2010 Posted 25 June 2010 Spain vs Portugal Brazil vs Chile Will both be good games.
