Flynny Posted 9 July 2010 Posted 9 July 2010 Quite like him? Strength in midfield is something we need. Very few teams get out of this division without a bit of brute strength. Also wikipedia gives this (hope this isn't on the page before or I'll look like a wang) "He's unfortunately had a lot of injuries this past year," said Pulis, "but he played his part for us in our first season in the Premier."He's one who won't be remembered by the fans, but he played some smashing games for us. He also got his head down and worked hard behind the scenes to try and get himself fit." —Stoke manager Tony Pulis on releasing Amdy Faye.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 9 July 2010 Posted 9 July 2010 Amdy Faye is a player who seems to have been in the Premiership for ages. Is he really that bad???
Webbo Posted 9 July 2010 Posted 9 July 2010 From wikipedia though... Faye was arrested by City of London Police on 28 November 2007 along with Harry Redknapp, Milan Mandaric, Peter Storrie and Willie McKay over allegations of corruption. Can't see this transfer happening tbh. That might be the very reason why it would happen.
Koke Posted 9 July 2010 Posted 9 July 2010 Stoke fans seem to like him, and think he can do a job for us. http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=Potters&action=display&thread=128070
Tuna Posted 10 July 2010 Posted 10 July 2010 Just found out that Faye played once last year in the league cup. 1 appearance in nearly 18 months? Says it all.
