I noticed that most of the top teams in the EPL have been playing 4-2-3-1 and when we were playing our supposed 4-3-3 last season, I always felt it was more of a 4-2-3-1

Playing hoof ball with only one man up, as was was the norm when Pearson tried to play 4-3-3 (as he called it) was a disaster. Getting the ball forward quickly to a lone striker does not give the midfield any chance to get up and support, so we just kept giving the ball away, causing us huge problems. Playing the ball through midfield gives the support players time to get forward. Not exactly rocket science! Starts at 7:40 IF they have a good connection. I'm paying good money for this, better be a connection...
