yeah i'm going live local and work in Rotherham, should be an interesting game, i think Rotherham have at least half a dozen new signings, maybe a harder fixture than on paper.

Don Valley stadium is a well weird stadium, reminds me of butlins!

We had a few clowns playing for us the last time we were there.

Narb - replying to your post, it was about 5:45 and we was about 15 mile away from Sheffield, I should imagine they would be at Don Valley by now. Cheers for the team and yeah I think its a good formation  :):scarf:

The old World Cup formation of 2010 I see Ashley, Good team actually. I've always thought that Gallagher should play just behind the striker(s).

I noticed that most of the top teams in the EPL have been playing 4-2-3-1 and when we were playing our supposed 4-3-3 last season, I always felt it was more of a 4-2-3-1

Much of last season we played hoof ball, the midfield setup is largely irrelevant if all they are doing is watching the ball fly over there heads. Playing hoof ball with only one man up, as was was the norm when Pearson tried to play 4-3-3 (as he called it) was a disaster.

Getting the ball forward quickly to a lone striker does not give the midfield any chance to get up and support, so we just kept giving the ball away, causing us huge problems. Playing the ball through midfield gives the support players time to get forward.

Not exactly rocket science!

Starts at 7:40 IF they have a good connection.

I'm paying good money for this, better be a connection...:@
