ousefox Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 Damn misses the start of the season then The starting 11 vs Palace will be very interesting.
doughnut Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 Torn muscle already???? To me that is a worry. You can count the torn muscles on one hand that we had last season and already we have one. Did we keep pearsons sports science team?? who im sure helped injury prevention last season.

goose2010 Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 pulled would put you out for 3weeks if it is torn looking at double that at least!
dpjfox Posted 24 July 2010 Posted 24 July 2010 radio leicester says his injury is just a strain should be ok for start of season
The Padster Posted 25 July 2010 Posted 25 July 2010 He did take it with him but injuries happen. I was under the impression that it was LCFC that was working mutually with Loughborough Uni Sports Science Dept sharing and developing new techniques etc, not just Pearson. So I thought it would just carry on regardless of who's manager.
KFS Posted 25 July 2010 Posted 25 July 2010 They are but apparently he took his beloved sports science team with him.
Mawsley Posted 25 July 2010 Posted 25 July 2010 out 3weeks torn muscle No he hasn't They are but apparently he took his beloved sports science team with him. No he didn't
C-man Posted 26 July 2010 Posted 26 July 2010 No he hasn't brfc24 has been pretty much on the money whenever it comes to news of Gallagher. It might not be any more than a grade 1 tear, or a strain but he's clearly not fit.
Babylon Posted 26 July 2010 Posted 26 July 2010 No he hasn't I would suggest he knows better... being a relative and all!!
The Padster Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Latest. Paul Gallagher is facing a battle to be fit for the start of Leicester City's Championship campaign. The 25-year-old striker looks certain to miss the final two games of City's pre-season programme with the thigh muscle strain which kept him out of last weekend's friendly at Oxford United. City manager Paulo Sousa said: "In the Rotherham game, he felt a small problem in the muscle and that is why he didn't play against Oxford." Gallagher will not feature against Peterborough tonight (7.45). Sousa said: "We are looking for him to recover as quickly as possible and expect him to be fit for the first game against Crystal Palace." Gallagher scored in the friendly at Rotherham and Sousa added: "He is a player with great quality and an important one for us this season." Gallagher's injury blow deprives City of one of their most skilful players and the Scottish international is relishing life under Sousa. Gallagher, who scored seven goals last term, has been employed in his preferred position as an attacking midfielder and is enjoying the freedom of the role. He said: "That is the position I like to play," he said. "I would like to think it is tailor-made for me." DJ Campbell, who has been prolific in during pre-season with four goals in as many games, occupied the Gallagher role against Oxford at the Kassam Stadium. Merc
Mawsley Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 I would suggest he knows better... being a relative and all!! And I would suggest he doesn't, whoever he claims to be. The 25-year-old striker looks certain to miss the final two games of City's pre-season programme with the thigh muscle strain
Salieri Posted 27 July 2010 Posted 27 July 2010 Gallagher, who scored seven goals last term, has been employed in his preferred position as an attacking midfielder and is enjoying the freedom of the role.He said: "That is the position I like to play," he said. "I would like to think it is tailor-made for me." Play your players in their preferred positions in order to get the best out of them, it ain't rocket science. Far too often last season Gally was pushed out wide and didn't look comfortable. Could be a key player for us playing behind Fryatt and Campbell.
Tilley Posted 28 July 2010 Posted 28 July 2010 Gallagher didn't impress me at all last season, yet again he was never going to shine out wide in a route one team. Hopefully Sousa can bring the best out of him because haven't seen enough to justify the large fee yet.
marbelladave Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 Do we know if Gallagher is fully fit yet?? The word was that he might have played a part on saturday but in the end was not risked. Suggests that he is not far away (I hope)... In any case he is just keeping the creative role warm for Robert Koren, once he finally gets here!...
VampLCFC Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 It's just flashed up on Sky Sports News that Gallagher and Vitor are both fit for tonight
Babylon Posted 10 August 2010 Posted 10 August 2010 And I would suggest he doesn't, whoever he claims to be. He is who he says he is. I used to go on the Plymouth boards a while back and he posted on there with inside info about Gally when he was on loan there. He even posted about his transfer to us on there before it was ever mentioned on here . His terminology of the injury may not be correct, but he stated that he was out for three weeks... how long has been out again?
