Edmund Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 No room for Tim Bresnan. Looks like Steven Finn was picked ahead of him.
Corky Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 Batting first then. No room for Tim Bresnan. Should've played ahead of Broad
Fox You Forest Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 Amir's going to be the best bowler around in a couple of years time, tore the Aussies a new one the other week too.
Corky Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 Evenly poised currently, Strauss should've gone earlier (Akmal looks very shaky) but if the review system had not been in place Trott would be out. Need our South Africans to bat well now
ScouseFox Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 2 quick wickets, Trott and KP gone. Need a big partnership between Morgan and Collingwood to steady things and avoid a collapse. Pakistan bowling pretty well to be fair.
Wilkesy Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 2 quick wickets, Trott and KP gone. Need a big partnership between Morgan and Collingwood to steady things and avoid a collapse. Pakistan bowling pretty well to be fair. 190 for 4 at tea. Decent re-building job by those two.
ScouseFox Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 190 for 4 at tea. Decent re-building job by those two. Brilliant century from Morgan, great support from Collingwood aswell. Should be pushing on tomorrow morning.
FoxyPV Posted 29 July 2010 Posted 29 July 2010 Great partnership between Collingwood and Morgan. What a way to seal your first test century!!
ScouseFox Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 All gone a bit wrong this morning. 5 wickets for Asif.
Fox You Forest Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 Strange one that, why not refer, he must know he's not hit it.
FoxyPV Posted 30 July 2010 Posted 30 July 2010 I'd be extremely surprised if Pakistan reach 100. Innings victory for England looks likely.
Corky Posted 31 July 2010 Posted 31 July 2010 Just seen the highlights on Five. Looked like a wonderful day's cricket. Those three wickets have demoralised Pakistan and I can't see them putting up a whole lot of resistance (having said that now they'll probably bat for a day-and-a-half).
FoxyPV Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 All out for 80. Fuck that's embarrassing for Pakistan. They may have been wrecked / not up for it after beating the Aussies last week but Jaysus a bit of professional pride wouldn't go amiss.
Corky Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 Start the car... Jimmy. Had a fantastic match. Obviously has something to prove after being dropped for the one-dayer vs Bangladesh.
Flynny Posted 1 August 2010 Posted 1 August 2010 His bowling average has dropped a ****ton after that match, starting to look respectable now at ~32. Couple more matches like that and it'll start to make up for the tonking he gets whenever we're abroad. Considering his bowling is erratic when it's not swinging it makes you wonder how destructive his bowling would be if he could swing it like a boomerang AND could bowl it in same spot ball after ball.
Fox You Forest Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 He's pretty much unplayable when he's in this kind of form with the right conditions.
Jackirius Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 Another good start for the Pakistan batsmen... 25-4. I reckon my sunday team could bowl these muppets out.
Jackirius Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 36-6 know... These guys are really showing us how to bat...
