Jackirius Posted 31 August 2010 Posted 31 August 2010 I played against Asif's brother once when he was at Leics. Asif came to watch, he was pretty sound. So there are a few cricketers on here.
Fox You Forest Posted 1 September 2010 Posted 1 September 2010 Off topic but looks like a blinding wicket at Bristol today. Derbyshire won.
C-man Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 4th player involved... Wouldn't be surprised if it was Umar Gul.
SamL Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 4th player involved... Wouldn't be surprised if it was Umar Gul. Kamran Akmal's name has been banded about during the saga, I'm not sure whether or not he's been cleared of any wrongdoing yet. '
Fox You Forest Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Could be any of them really seems as if most if not all knew what was going on, My guess would be Wahab Riaz, fairly new to the team so easy to get at and he was in one of the NOTW pictures last week being shown the jacket pocket full of cash by the middle man.
Corky Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 I hope it's a good match today, having a feeling the game will be very subdued though.
Fox You Forest Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 All over the shop this lad, throwing his bat and all sorts.
Jackirius Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 4th player involved... Wouldn't be surprised if it was Umar Gul. Im sorry but i cant see that Akhter and Afridi have never done this sort of thing. Their bigger wheeler dealers than 'Arry.
Mickyblueeyes Posted 5 September 2010 Posted 5 September 2010 Im sorry but i cant see that Akhter and Afridi have never done this sort of thing. Their bigger wheeler dealers than 'Arry. According to the "fixers" undercover confessions Afridi was his biggest obstacle and most of the cheats wanted him out due to it. In the Asia cup Afridi hit a hundred against Sri Lanka to take the team within victory before the team disintegrated around him. Butt. Asif and Amir were all cleaned bowled. Afridi refused to show up to the after match awards which indicates he knew what had happened. Not saying he's never been involved in this sort of thing but I think on this occasion Afridi cheats to win rather then lose. As for today's match, Mohammed Yousuf's batting was hillarious! England's 20-20 team is really looking the real deal. Even without Butt and Amir at this form of the game Pakistan in my opinion are the best and there performances in the past suggest that. We outclassed them. I hope for the next game Shahzad or Anderson are given a go ahead of Sidebottom. I dont know what it is about him but I cant stand Sidebottom!
FoxyPV Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 All out for 89. How much do you think Pakistan have earned for themselves with that pitiful innings?
Jackirius Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 All out for 89. How much do you think Pakistan have earned for themselves with that pitiful innings? A good £150k Poor effort from them, crap team.
ScouseFox Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 Took just 14 overs to reach 90-4 and take the series 2-0
Corky Posted 7 September 2010 Posted 7 September 2010 So comfortable for England. Pakistan look fed up and want to go home.
Corky Posted 10 September 2010 Posted 10 September 2010 Well on top in the first one-dayer, Davies had an excellent innings.
Fox You Forest Posted 10 September 2010 Posted 10 September 2010 That lad who had cramp, his legs are almost as tall as Afridi.
Wilkesy Posted 10 September 2010 Posted 10 September 2010 Well on top in the first one-dayer, Davies had an excellent innings. 274 for 6 from our 41 overs. Should be comfortable to defend that.
Corky Posted 10 September 2010 Posted 10 September 2010 274 for 6 from our 41 overs. Should be comfortable to defend that. Yeah, very good score and Pakistan not having the best time with the bat.
FoxyPV Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Bresnan gives away 21 in the last over - well done Odds on that No ball out anyone?
Corky Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Hope we can wrap the series up today. In a great position, Strauss is having some run of form lately.
Fox You Forest Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Darren Gough was saying a few days ago he should be dropped, think he should stick to dancing.
