Jimothy Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Samir Nasri this season  The guy's been unbelievably good, and he seems to be getting better with every game. Loving it. His 2 goals today, especially the first: awesome. He's been amazing. He has unbelievably quick feet. Know he was coming good when he scored that goal against Porto last season, but didn't expect him to start the season like this. Gah! I hate Sam Allardyce interviews. Why use 10 words when 80 will do eh Sam! He doesn't half witter on about some shit.
ScouseFox Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 I had no idea Nasri was so quick over about 15 yards, nobody has been able to keep up with his yet this season, accelerating past defenders for fun.

If he continues it until the end of this season and Barca are still as interested in Fabregas as they were before this, you'd have to believe Cesc was out of there.. Dodgy computer.. arrrrggggjhhhhh I had no idea Nasri was so quick over about 15 yards, nobody has been able to keep up with his yet this season, accelerating past defenders for fun. Hope he continues that in the next 4 games. BIG part of the season for all involved.
sdb Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 MOTD is flagging badly. It's not just me is it? Same old ordering of games, shite commentary, shite analysis, Alan 'watching paint dry' Shearer. The graphics/intro is embarrassing.
FoxyPV Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 The smugness of the show is awful. They need to change the pundits or use Lee Dixon more as at least he offers some articulate analysis. Shearer is a nightmare - I'd rather DJ was back on. MOTD 2 is much much better.
sdb Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Dixon is good, I liked Peacock too back a few years ago. Other than that it's dire. Final Score is worse. Gabby Logan, Garth Crooks and usually some other moron who know's nothing outside of 3/4 clubs (Claridge aside who I personally quite like). Embarrassing.
The Doctor Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 man city are falling to pieces. Tevez's strop and that fight. Mancini won't last much longer me thinks.
Tilley Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Lee Dixon is a very good pundit. FoxyPv you have a point, MOTD seems so shit lately and like it's running on a low budget. The commentary on some of the games is appalling and Shearer's post-match analysis is very amateur and monotone.
StanSP Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 I usually just watch MOTD on mute now, and just watch the goals. Don't listen to punditry much as I just pick it up as I watch anyway. Newcastle cannot get in to the game at all today. Can't keep possession and West Brom need to take advantage before it costs them.
Tilley Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 man city are falling to pieces. Tevez's strop and that fight. Mancini won't last much longer me thinks. With Chelsea playing Spurs, United and Arsenal in their next three games and Arsenal and Manchester United playing each other too, City have a good chance of sitting top going into January.
StanSP Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Good goal well taken by Tchoyi. You could see he was setting himself up for it.
sdb Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 that was a Tchoi to watch. re: Man City - there's just so many egos. only a handful of managers could keep them under control, not that i'm a big Mancini fan
MikeyT Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 God goal from West Brom there. West Brom 1-0 Newcastle.
StanSP Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 that was a Tchoi to watch. re: Man City - there's just so many egos. only a handful of managers could keep them under control, not that i'm a big Mancini fan Ferguson and Mourinho are the only 2 I can think of. Mancini just doesn't seem to have the authority he think he does over his players.
StanSP Posted 5 December 2010 Posted 5 December 2010 Bastard. Took Odemwingie out for Carroll on Friday.
ScouseFox Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Liverpool without Carragher, Torres and Gerrard look very ordinary on paper. Chance for Villa to get something from this.
Mee Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 They were saying Babel is likely to be loaned out in January. Take him anyone?
ScouseFox Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 2-0, Babel. Offside by the looks of things, great finish nevertheless.
Wymsey Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Houllier might get sacked by the way it is going
StanSP Posted 6 December 2010 Posted 6 December 2010 Aston Villa started off all over the place and Liverpool have taken advantage. Torres/Gerrard/Carragher who? Villa got a lot of work to do to save this.
