I remember reading two or three weeks ago (mercury I think) about an old lady who had been watching city since the 50's. For the last 3 years she had a disabled ticket but this year when it came to renewal lcfc said she wasn't disabled enough to warrent one and she had to pay full price. Just wondering if she managed to keep her discounted ticket? Hope she did!

If the government class her as disabled then she should have a disability card, if she hasn't got one then she shouldn't get disabled tickets.

As I understood it she hadn't go a government recognised disability registration but that it was the club that decided a few years ago that she could be classed as registered they've now changed their minds and reclassified her.

That's how I understood it, was just wondering if anyone knew if the club reversed the decision or not as I never saw a follow up article

Harsh but true - sentiment has a time and a place, and it's not in this thread

Which is their right obviously. They have been nice to her for several years, but one person shouldn't be treated differently to others. The club have made a rod for their own back by trying to help in the first place, a gesture that then gets thrown back in their face a few years down the line.

Set off a fake fire alarm?

Ah beat me to it!

Gareth: I'm just saying there should be tests

Tim: We're all ears Gareth

Gareth: Well I don't know, when they go down the DSS to make a claim then they should set off a fire alarm fake fire alarm, everybody legs it out the office leaving them there. If they're fake they'll be up and running with them, if they're real they'll be left there screaming for help.
