Sk4 Posted 3 September 2010 Posted 3 September 2010 Fook Wellens & fook Gally! Neither have done much since they got here. Gally's has been average (at best) aside from 1 good game. Wellens has done nothing of note & most of the time is way to slow to pass, gets caught in possession to often, can't tackle & generally ends up just chasing shadows. If they don't wanna be here then let them do one (although I'd be very suprised if anyone would actually buy them based on their performances for us)

montyw93 Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 I would be disappointed if Wellens, was to leave I see why people don't rate him, but I think he is a good midfielder to have in our squad and if we are going to play this pass and move fanci football then I'd have him in the squad. The transfer requests were handed in because they were unhappy with DJ, because he just didn't try and wanted to run the squad, and they all said "Either he goes or we go" Now that he has gone hopefully we will be able to keep those players!!! :chant: :scarf:
Father Ted Posted 4 September 2010 Posted 4 September 2010 Wellens was used wrongly under Pearson. He has class and ability about him but unfortunately he is on the wrong side of peaking in his career. Wellens was best known in a more advanced, attacking role for Doncaster and that's how we should use him. If you've noticed this season, he has made some very good forward runs as well as grabbing 2 goals. If it was my choice, keep him, we can't let any of our key players go to league rivals like Leeds. We all saw what happened with DJ last year.
