Jimmy Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 can we have less of the "x is a paedophile" chants please
King Cal Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Need to stop with the Stand Up if you Love Leicester chants, I love it and take part in it but only works at away games, at home nobody joins in and it kills the atmosphere! We were loud in the Kop start of the game, sang a few songs then stand up if you love Leicester started, and killed it, and then following that the kop start singing loyal supporters and stand up and support your team and if you take a look around the people who were singing along, just sit there shaking there heads. It's a waste of time, stick with the songs everyone joins in with

It's a waste of time, stick with the songs everyone joins in with I thought the stand up if you love Leicester chant was met with a good number of people standing up. Far more than the last time I was in the kop and heard it sung. I can't comment on the stand up and support you're team chant - didn't hear it myself. I thought people in the Kop were great last.
peterborofox Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Need to stop with the Stand Up if you Love Leicester chants I find most people only stand up because the person in front has decided to stand meaning they cant see!
Fosse Boy Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Cracking work last night. Keep this up and one day the stand we're in might be worthy of the name Spion Kop after all. Special mention to the blokes in front of us starting all the old school chants. Absolutely loved 'em.
Trickyfox Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 great support last night, the first time in years the place was rocking
Trickyfox Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 great support last night, the first time in years the place was rocking
WE ARE GOING UP Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 great support last night, the first time in years the place was rocking You call that rocking? A big roar when you scored, but besides a few rows around your drummer, the place is a library!!! And without that drum half your chants wouldnt have got momentum... We outsung you all first half, and outsung you for 90 mins in the playoff first leg last year. Fairplay to the fatty drummer doing the ayatolla mind
SamL Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 You call that rocking? A big roar when you scored, but besides a few rows around your drummer, the place is a library!!! dandannieldanok Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Funny that, we didn't hear a peep out of you all night from where I was in the Kop. Same here, if they were singing they weren't singing very loudly. Good turnout from them mind you, 1,000 on a Tuesday is pretty good given the travelling distance.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Funny that, we didn't hear a peep out of you all night from where I was in the Kop. Exactly. I hardly ever hear the away fans from SK3, so while I understand away fans always going on about 'we outsung you' they need to realise the stadium is crap for sound. Last night was brilliant. It showed that with a team that gives everything, goes forward, plays well and attacks, we'll get right behind them. I was expecting last night to be like most evening games I experienced last season, which was quieter than funerals, but I loved last night, promising how much support there was at times.
Ilkeston_Fox Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Funny that, we didn't hear a peep out of you all night from where I was in the Kop. "You took the words right outta my mouth"
AndyBrew Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 We heard a few outbursts from Cardiff first half but once their team were on the ropes it was silent from where we were, I thought last night was superb in relation to what we are used to at the Walkers lets hope we keep it up for QPR on Saturday, needless to say I'll be singing for the 90 as per usual every time I took a breather last bloody Arab was on my case VIVA LEICESTER!
Bugg Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 "You took the words right outta my mouth" I couldn't hear a peep out of them from k1! So much for outsinging us, atmosphere was cracking tonight hop we can keep it up.
phillthefox Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Awesome response last night in the KOP first time in ages , agree place was rocking second half.. As for Cardiff couldnt hear a word from them after first half, maybe cos they all had twitchy bums, and the thought of a 5hr bus ride home going up cardiff i doubt it never even looked like scoring except from a cross........ Being on warnock and QPR BLUE ARMY !!!!!
gazmanthegun Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 loved it last night, great atmosphere and good singing. first game of the season i have been to so was well chuffed
lcfcadam Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 It's so obvious that the atmosphere relates to what's going on on the pitch; how about the noise when we had that little rally of brilliant slide tackles and sucessive shots on goal, worthy of any ground anywhere that.
Houdini Logic Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 You call that rocking? A big roar when you scored, but besides a few rows around your drummer, the place is a library!!! Fairplay to the fatty drummer doing the ayatolla mind Top of the league and outsung away. Gutted
WE ARE GOING UP Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Like you say it must be the stadium then cos we were close to you. First half it seemed like we were very loud. 2nd half we were a bit quiet, not much to sing about when your team offer no threat and its backs against the wall
stix Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 Like you say it must be the stadium then cos we were close to you. First half it seemed like we were very loud. 2nd half we were a bit quiet, not much to sing about when your team offer no threat and its backs against the wall Some of your lot said on one of your forums that they enjoyed the atmosphere and the banter between the two sets of fans lastnight. And i think its abit different when you go away because almost everyone there is singing so it seems louder to you.
The Doctor Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 can we have less of the "x is a paedophile" chants please I didn't hear any of these. Whereabouts were you sat and when did this start (1st half/ 2nd half)
Leicester_Loyal Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 I didn't hear any of these. Whereabouts were you sat and when did this start (1st half/ 2nd half) First half, chanting about Dave Jones, apparantly he got done for it or something?
kylestyle06 Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 That peado chant was going on all game ::
The Doctor Posted 15 September 2010 Posted 15 September 2010 First half, chanting about Dave Jones, apparantly he got done for it or something? aah. yep - didn't hear these but he was taken to court over child abuse about a decade ago, pretty sure he was found innocent as well.
