Atmosphere tonight (Cardiff)

Lets not forget, Bellamy, Bothroyd, Chopra, Olifajana and Drinkwater were out with injuries last hight. Probably out of Cardiffs top 6 players, only Burke played.

FFS get things into perspective.

We've sung the fast version for ages, so what's the problem with slowing it down? Makes it a much better chant when you add the extra couple of dimensions. Maybe I'm talking bollocks though and we should rush through our songbook at a million miles an hour all the time as per.

the slow 3 stage version is much better IMO

I also prefer Lloyd will tear you apart again to the other 1 as well

My voice today is the worst it has ever been after a game, i sound like a right idiot

let's hope i haven't properly buggered it or i will be screwed for Saturday!

Not really as whittingham and koumas would be classed as two of Cardiff's top 6 players. But back to the subject, didn't agree with the paedo chants either tbh.

Oh okay then, let's just sit in silence for that moment while we decide not to rip off any chants

Or better yet, let's get another rendition of Ring of fire, EL CEE EFF CEE going, let's shake it up

Away from home that chant gets going, I don't see the problem with it, unless THFC chant police want to sue us :dunno:

I wasn't saying that anything is wrong with it. Just that people perhaps prefer to do it the other way round

Just so people are clear

The Fosse Boys didnt sing any Peado songs, chants against the welsh or ingurland songs

only songs for leicester

Can i also add that I think the Fosse boys are doing a wonderfull job to create an atmosphere at the walkers. I think that your chanting whilst we were one nil down made a big difference to the crowds attitude towards the team, Hence the applaud for the team at half time instead of the normal booing.

Who was singing them then? definatly wernt the family stand

The welsh one's, fair enough, but that guys life nearly got ruined not too many years ago for no reason, so the other ones are a little harsh.

Not too bothered about the "Ingerland" chants, but singing "God Save The Queen" really is cringeworthy and embarrassing.

And to be honest I don't think most people (me included) realise quite the extent to which how serious that case was and how much it affected Dave Jones' life - as in it wasn't just some silly rumour that got elevated to a chant (like most such things are), but a horrendous failure of the justice system that saw a successful man very nearly ruined forever. I have some faith that did everyone know the details (as opposed to the useless tabloid headlines they read at the time), they probably wouldn't have gone down that route.

A few people behind me in SK3 / SK4 were singing the 'Dave Jones is a paedophile' song. It only takes one or two to start something like that off, and then others join in 'cos they think it sounds funny. If there's still anyone on here who thinks it's amusing, read the man's autobiography, or just this article: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/article6578727.ece

However, I thought there was less of that, and less 'Ingerland' chanting, than at the Cardiff games last season. Maybe a few people have begun to notice that chanting 'Ingerland' when your goals are being scored by a Welshman is a bit stupid.

Disappointed we couldn't get 'we've got the best fooking Welshman on the pitch' going, though. Maybe the Swansea game...

I have no idea who was singing it

but it certainly wasn't the Fosse Boys

We're obviously not carrying over to SK3 then. Had it going a few times.

On Ingurlund etc. chants - they're just boring. Do people not think Cardiff/Swansea get that shite every time they play away? It's like singing "we support our local team" at Man U/Liverpool away fans, what's the point? They get that tired old crap every week. It's not witty, just lame. Support YOUR team, sing YOUR songs with pride. SHOW THEM you're proud to support your local team.

I never heard these songs, are you sure you're not confusing L1 with the Fosse Boys, as the Fosse Boys NEVER sang anything about pedo's :dunno:

just read the bit about SK3 singing it apologies to L1

Don't know if this has been mentioned yet but does anyone think it was just a coincedence that this was really the Fosse Boys first proper outing (after settling certain grievances with the club) they could relax a bit more, enjoy themselves a bit more and the atmosphere in the Kop was the best it has been for ages, especially for a Tuesday night.

I looked across from SK4 and they looked pretty good, couldn't hear them, but I'm sure it filtered across.

I usually hate Tuesday night games, don't know why, just do, but I really enjoyed it the other night. Keep up the good work and I'm sure more will join, and hopefully one day that whole corner will be full and the Kop will be a "spoin kop" again. Just hope it's as good on Saturday, we've almost set a standard to improve on

That's the idea mate, I too hope other will join in. There were a few people who came across to us and stood and sang with us. The Kop nearest SK1 joined in several times and it was great to see so many hands clapping along with us. It's a start....

To We Are Going Up:

You might have outsung us in the first leg of the play offs last year, but our away fans demolished you in the second leg, and you sold out your end if I can remember.

Hopefully keep it up on Saturday, I think you could see the encouragement it gave to the team, Good job all round :)

Come On!!

Yes it was 'us lot' in L1/K block that were doing the peado chants and No im not a chav, Jobbers tap your head if your 2-1 up went down very well though....head hurt in the morning ;)

The tap your head if your 2-1 up was appropriate as we were and it relates directly to them and not any generic team but peado chant just bad

Take it you heard the rest of SK1 singing 'We love you Fosse Boys, we do' just after the stewards came to you lot Liam?

No i didn't!

but i got told about it after

amazing support :scarf:

last season a friend of mine from birmingham came to the albion away game and started singing "oh i do like to be on andy king's side, oh i do like to be with andy king" to the tune of oh i do like to be beside the seaside, i think with some more words it would be quite a decent chant
