Fox You Forest Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 I've seen Fryatt play on the wing before and it's not something I'd care to see again.
MitchLCFC Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 I've seen Fryatt play on the wing before and it's not something I'd care to see again. I mean more of a left forward then a winger
Fox You Forest Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 I agree with you about Fryatt, if hes not gonna get any game time how can he get back into form and prove what he is capable of Get his head down in training and when he does get his next chance(probably Tuesday), take it, or because some people have trouble with their favourites being left out of the side Paulo could just throw him in and hope he comes good. I mean more of a left forward then a winger Fair enough, but he's still going to have to do some tracking back playing that position, can you see him putting in the effort Dyer and Waggy do to get up and down the pitch, I can't. He also doesn't have the pace to worry full backs like those two. He needs to be played in the centre, I'm no fan of Howard but if it's a choice between what he did against Cardiff or what Fryatt did against Cov, well... The sooner he pulls his finger out the better because we'd be a much better side with an interested Fryatt playing instead of Howard.

I didnt say he was my favourite mate,i just dont think its fair that after the last couple of seasons he has done well for us,and now he is a bench warmer. In my opinion he needs to play games to get back to his self, even if he comes on as a sub. Everyone knows what he can do if he is given the chance, and personnally i would like to see him given the chance Fair enough, but he's still going to have to do some tracking back playing that position, can you see him putting in the effort Dyer and Waggy do to get up and down the pitch, I can't. Legend_in_blue Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 Is Fryatt aggressive enough to play up front on his own with support from Waghorn and Dyer? I don't think so. He's too nice.
Fox You Forest Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 Is Fryatt aggressive enough to play up front on his own with support from Waghorn and Dyer? Did he struggle to play that role up until his injury last season, using a more direct approach too?
North-LondonFox Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 If we play one uo front it has to be Waggy. Danny and Lloyd either side? Come on City!
Legend_in_blue Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 DNG isn't good enough at this level.
Narborough_fox Posted 17 September 2010 Posted 17 September 2010 Probably been posted before but Gradel would have been a very good option to have if he was still here.
FoxesFan100 Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 I just read on the BBC head to head stats, and i says that 50 out of our 90 shots have been on target, thought that was quite remarkable considdering the golas to shot ratio. Not that im compaliing though. * Shoudl really stick with the same team on tuesday, they didn't put a foot wrong, but i guess if sousa see's room for improvement he might change our approach to the game.
thybluefox Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Has to be the same team, no doubt about it. I don't understand why some people are putting Fryatt back in, IMO he's slower, weaker and has less desire than Waggy, and why you'd swap him with Dyer like someone suggested I have no idea.
Stig the Lawnmower Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Has to be the same team, injuries notwithstanding. we can change it around on tuesday, perhapos give Abe etc a start then. Todays game is too important.
FrankieADZ Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 if its up to me its will be the same team the started against Cardiiff midweek. all depends on if Weale's fit tho i guess, he could replace Ikeme.
Madrid_Fox Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Ikeme or Weale Neilson Morrison Hobbs Berner (Captain) Oakley Wellens King Dyer Waghorn Howard Subs: Logan, Vitor, Abe, Gallagher, Moreno, DNG, Fryatt No reason to change the team after Tuesday night in my opinion. If Mr Sousa does change it I can only imagine that its due to tactics.
Callabinho Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 Looks like Weale is out according to the Merc, I'M pooing myself..... I'm not that confident that our defence is sorted yet, Cardiff didn't really test us because Jay, Chops and Bellamy were all sidelined! I don't think QPR's strike force is as good as Cardiff's especially when they have all their key men in place! I'm just worried about Taraabt, and if not him Buszacky, or Hogan... Please get us a win and a clean sheet lads, i don't care if its pump it long all day to get it! Come on lads!!!

Dyer, Waggy, Fryatt, King, Howard, Gallagher. Think of the variety of problems they can cause QPR between them. There defence isnt spectacular.
Legend_in_blue Posted 18 September 2010 Posted 18 September 2010 I don't know why there is such a high level of concern regarding QPR and their form. Stop worrying people, we will win this game. If they come at us, this will suit us.
