bettso Posted 19 September 2010 Posted 19 September 2010 There are so many people on here saying Sousa should be sacked, but i've not read any posts where anyone actually suggests an alternative. If Sousa were to get the boot (personally I dont think he should. The football is excellent at times and I really believe we're only 2 players off being superb), who would the doubters like to see come in? Sorry in advance to the positive posters it's just i'm curious.
broughtonblue Posted 19 September 2010 Posted 19 September 2010 I agree, give Sousa more time, pos till Xmas. The moaners seem to be saying we play too much pretty football with no end product. Perhaps they would like someone like beasent. In charge, football played in the sky

Can you point them all out I must have missed them, strange considering there's so many Plenty are questioning his tactics, team selections, bought players, many saying he needs to do something quick but sacking him now Alternatives - can't think of any don't want one at this time.

Just wondered whether any sensible suggestions would be made for if the unthinkable were to happen. Sorry if the thread got up your nose.

Callabinho Posted 19 September 2010 Posted 19 September 2010 Cut a short story short, Force out Pearson because we want to play pretty attractive football, Ah bring in Sousa, get Sousa and tell him he has a few weeks to turn us into Barcelona B team, Sousa gets promised funding but does not get it until the end of the transfer window! so he buys Waghorn... Paulo has had allot of pressure put on him buy the new owner's to produce, he is trying to oblige them! give him time and we will sort it, change for the better takes well practiced time, and if we steam roll the league next year whilst QPR are getting battered every game in the prem, who's laughing?
bettso Posted 19 September 2010 Author Posted 19 September 2010 I've not once said he should be sacked. You did but I really cant be bothered to find the post where you did again so i'll remove you from the list if you now dont think he should go.
Guest ttfn Posted 19 September 2010 Posted 19 September 2010 Tony Mowbray. Would meet the criteria of: Promoted before Plays the 'right' way
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Tony Mowbray. Would meet the criteria of: Promoted before Plays the 'right' way But is not a big enough name for Top. The only big name alternative I could think of who would literally be mad enough to accept the job at our club at the moment would be Gazza. This is a joke btw!!
Guest NGoloMode Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Steve Howard to become player/manager
Guest Basildon Fox Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Martin O'Neil is out of a job at the moment.... Awaits mass rants and head banging icons!

North-LondonFox Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 I'm convinced Sousa is the man for the job - I just hope i'm not regretting this post in May! I hope we can get something from the South Coast in the next couple of games.
samjohnson Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Martin O'Neil is out of a job at the moment.... Awaits mass rants and head banging icons! Ah, yes... But would he come back to Leicester and risk the reputation he has here?? just find them in: Dvd box set, Discount dvd, Cheap dvd box set, Dvd sale, Dvd rental, Dvd for sale Ooo...kkkk??? I dont think people are that stupid to click links like that... I think we have a spam account!

Just wondered whether any sensible suggestions would be made for if the unthinkable were to happen. Sorry if the thread got up your nose. It didn't get up my nose I genuinely hadn't registered anyone actually saying he should be sacked forthwith, plenty of unhappy people, plenty that were putting in time limits but I don't recall anyone specifically saying, seriously sack Sousa. :Perhaps I just missed them.
Ric Flair Posted 20 September 2010 Posted 20 September 2010 Alan Pardew always get's his teams playing the right sort of football, just like George Burley does. Both of these managers have their downsides and have a couple of failed jobs but i'd take either of them. I know Burley has only just gone to Palace so it's unlikely we could get him but Pardew is available. Pardew knows the foreign market too, he's unearthed some quality players in his time and he's got at developing younger players. Tony Mowbray is another manager who would steady the ship at Leicester and get us fit and fighting again, his style of play at The Baggies was fairly admirable as well. If Sousa can turn it around at Leicester then fair enough but I cannot see him doing it. The way we are going, we could be rooted to the bottom of the league and if that's the case after a dozen games then it's hard to fight the cause for Paulo to stay.
