LCFC-ARAB Posted 12 October 2010 Posted 12 October 2010 First game back for Legia ultras after boycotting for nearly 3 years the ultras organised everything for this game, from stewards to hotel rooms for the away team to the food, and it looks like they did a good job
Guest Bilo Posted 12 October 2010 Posted 12 October 2010 July 2012. Leicester City v VfL Bochum. Walkers Stadium. Will be done.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 Two sets of complete nutters. The fans have a friendship, probably the craziest friendship in the world!
Fosse Boy Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I think Den Haag have some kind of freindship with Swansea as well. Not sure if it's supporters or just a hooligan thing.
Finnegan Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 It isn't a hooligan think it's an official thing. I could have imagined it but I think they have an annual friendly.
RobHawk Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I think the Den Haag chairman is also on the Swansea Board, there is defo an official connection. They also got a number of Den Haag players on the cheap - De Vries and Bodde both came to Swansea from Den Haag im sure! I know a number of Swans fans who went over to Holland to go to a Den Haag game when they were facing relegation and Swansea didnt have a game!
Fosse Boy Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 JME's favourite 'keeper has indeed played for both clubs.

He dropped a clanger that got them relegated, before hot tailing it to Swansea.
RobHawk Posted 13 October 2010 Posted 13 October 2010 I stand corrected! Having quickly checked Wikipedia there is an associate director called John van Zweden who im sure is also a director on Den Haags board although couldnt find anything to show this. I know Swansea defo got Ferrie Bodde on the cheap £50k i think, not bad considering he was being touted at £5mill before his recent injuries. Although i think there was a clause that allowed Den Haag a large percentage on any sale.

I think I picked it up because I saw a headline and got confused about how Mark De Vries was affecting things north of the border while contracted to us.
