Fosse Boy Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 Kettering v Rushden and FCUM v Barrow are the stand-out ties for me. Gotta love The Cup.
Narborough_fox Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 2 Giant killers of recent times playing each other. Havant & Waterlooville v Histon
BoneDog Posted 21 October 2010 Posted 21 October 2010 I'm hoping Buxton pull off a shock result. And I would like to see Guiseley make it through. There's some good ties going on and I can't wait to see who get's some FA Cup glory. You canna beat a bit of non league FA Cup glory. Looking forward to watching the winners of Sheffield v Tipton and Leiston v Dartford in round 1 for the first time that I can remember.
CosbehFox Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Lots of derbies - one positive for regionalised draws. Be funny to see the Met in the main draw. FCUM, Barwell and Halifax I fancy for upsets.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Come on Buxton!! and what... Hendon v Metropolitan Police?? lol
Guest Bilo Posted 22 October 2010 Posted 22 October 2010 Come on Buxton!! and what... Hendon v Metropolitan Police?? lol Sure a few chants will be aired there.
purpleronnie Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 I'd be happy if FC progressed but I'd be amazed if they beat Barrow.

Looking forward to watching the winners of Sheffield v Tipton and Leiston v Dartford in round 1 for the first time that I can remember. I remember Leiston reaching the first round a couple of years ago, I think they were the lowest ranked team left, I would prefer Dartford to go through, I went to their new stadium a while back its a cracker and good crowds too. Tipton although top of the Midland alliance will do well to get past sheffield, I believe tipton at step 5 are amongst the lowest ranked teams still in it. Love to see barwell go through if they do and get a home draw I'll definately try and go but to beat a team 2 leagues above you away will take some doing. Hopefully AFC wimbledon will go through too. MK dons watch out.
purpleronnie Posted 23 October 2010 Posted 23 October 2010 Barwell lost 3-0, tipton did well to get a 2-2, buxton lost in the last minute. AFC wombles won. Mossley AFC 2 - 6 Darlington Sheffield 2 - 2 Tipton Town Guiseley AFC 2 - 1Redditch United Fleetwood Town 2 - 1 Buxton Altrincham 0 - 2 Gateshead Vauxhall Motors 1 - 0 Newcastle Town Workington 1 - 1 Nuneaton Town Tamworth 1 - 1 Grimsby Town Kidderminster Harriers 0 - 2 York City FC Halifax Town 0 - 1 Mansfield Town Wrexham1 - 2 Southport Stalybridge Celtic 1 - 2 Eastwood Town Droylsden 3 - 0 Barwell Woking 3 - 2 Eastleigh Hythe Town 2 - 0 Staines Town Eastbourne Borough 2 - 4 Harrow Borough Cambridge United 3 - 0 Lewes Corby Town 3 - 0 Salisbury City Newport County 0 - 1 Crawley Town Luton Town 4 - 0 St Albans City Farnborough 1 - 1 Dover Athletic Kettering Town 1 - 2 Rushden & Diamonds Carshalton Athletic 1 - 1 Chelmsford City Hendon 0 - 0 Metropolitan Police Leiston 0 - 0 Dartford Basingstoke Town 0 - 1 AFC Wimbledon Swindon Supermarine 0 - 0 Bath City Havant & Waterlooville 2 - 0 Histon Forest Green Rovers 1 - 0 Maidenhead United Poole Town 1 - 3 Hayes & Yeading United Ebbsfleet United 3 - 0 Boreham Wood
Narborough_fox Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 AFC Wimbledon have drawn Ebbsfleet United at home in the first round proper.
C-man Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Rochdale potentially at home to FC United. Wednesday away at Southport.
Guest Bilo Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Corby at home to Luton for their first First Round proper match in 43 years. Could be a decent game that. Not sure how their little ground is going to cope though, it's not much bigger than Saffron Lane.
Fosse Boy Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Rushden v Yeovil, resurrecting something of a top of the table rivalry from their Conference days too if I remember rightly. Met Police away in the Third Round please.

Mike the Metal Ed Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 FC United beat Barrow AFC 1-0 and have earned an away tie at Rochdale as a result. Well done lads.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Also, credit to the manager of the Metropolitan Police football team, who manged to describe his side as having "got out of jail" following their 0-0 draw at Hendon.
purpleronnie Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Amazing result for FC, I would like to know how many tickets they are given for the first round. Being pretty local I reckon they could take a couple of thousand. Well over 3000 at FC today. Plus I reckon they've earned almost £30,000 from the prize money.
Ford Super Sunday Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Some really tasty looking clubs to go away to in the third round in that draw, just gotta keep fingers crossed they come through both rounds... then we get S****horpe at home in the 3rd Round draw
Brainy Posted 24 October 2010 Posted 24 October 2010 Also, credit to the manager of the Metropolitan Police football team, who manged to describe his side as having "got out of jail" following their 0-0 draw at Hendon.
Lamby Posted 25 October 2010 Posted 25 October 2010 SHOULD be an easy win, hopefully, 4 away games on the trot now
