Thracian Posted 13 November 2010 Posted 13 November 2010 It's still difficult to decide how good Danny was. He never had a consistent run in the team and in what little I saw of him he looked more dangerous as a striker than a winger. In fact he didn't look like a winger at all apart from that brilliant cross at Watford and a decent game against QPR. Mostly he failed to get his head up and ran into cul-de-sacs. However, in the box he did seem to pose a threat, particularly in the air. Whether he could turn that threat into something consistent I don't know but he got off the mark well enough today. Good luck to the guy.

Good luck to the guy. You clearly didn't see his clueless running around as a striker against Preston. He's Trevor Benjamin MK2
Guest BlueBrett Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 What position did Scunny play him in?

Good luck to the guy. Yeah agree pretty much, though I don't think I agree with you in regards positioning. N'Guessan always confused me a little bit. I think I've always been fortunate enough to see him play reasonably well and I always felt he warranted more of a go than he got. Still, I trust the judgement of Sven and anyway there's no point him holding on to a player he perhaps doesn't rate. He certainly has been incosnistent by all accounts. Best of luck to him though, I certainly don't understand the hate he seems to get from some people, we've had MUCH worse.
the_foxes_till_i_die Posted 14 November 2010 Posted 14 November 2010 From what ive seen of him i think he can be a decent player. Knew he would score yesterday....he didnt look happy though when he scored
