Not sure why we bother as plenty seem to be able to write the word in full. The Iron have signed Leicester City attacker Dany N'Guessan on a one-month loan. The former Lincoln City man goes straight into the squad for Saturday's home encounter with Cardiff City. Aged 23, the winger/striker has the ability to terrorise defences with his mix of pace and power. N'Guessan came to Britain initially in 2005, when he joined Scottish giants Glasgow Rangers from French side Auxerre. He spent the first half of the 2006-07 season on loan at Boston United, aged just 19 at the time, and scored his first Boston goal in a 2-1 defeat against Hartlepool United in September, 2006. In January 2007, N'Guessan made a permanent move to Lincoln City, but failed to score between then and the end of the season. The following campaign he did not have to wait too much longer for his first Lincoln goal, in his third and fourth appearances of the season, N'Guessan scored in the wins against Mansfield and Accrington Stanley. N'Guessan improved further in his final season with Lincoln, he scored nine goals over the season and proved to be one of the club's best players, convincing Nigel Pearson to bring him to the Foxes. He has scored six goals after 40 appearances in all competitions for Leicester.

Think he has the potential to develop into a pretty potent attacking player at Championship level. Glad he's going out on loan though. Hopefully he'll get a couple of goals and come back full of confidence.

MC Prussian Posted 12 November 2010 Posted 12 November 2010 Good move for Dany. With the size of the squad as it is right now, limited to bench appearances, mostly. And when he came on this season, could only occasionally come up with a positive imprint. Maybe he can improve on his consistency that way, ideally with a goal (or two ) against Cardiff tomorrow already.
