Edmund Posted 26 December 2010 Author Posted 26 December 2010 To be fair, it looked like a foul on the Leeds player in the buildup to the pen incident.
Dylan Posted 26 December 2010 Posted 26 December 2010 Yes I agree, but debatable. But once he's not given that he's surely got to send the keeper off. He can't say I should've given a foul so its only a yellow. If thats the case give the freekick.
Dylan Posted 26 December 2010 Posted 26 December 2010 If anyone can honestly say that this is not a CLEAR GOALSCORING OPPORTUNITY for Vassell, they've got to be mad.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 26 December 2010 Posted 26 December 2010 To be fair, it looked like a foul on the Leeds player in the buildup to the pen incident. Still why should that stop Schmeichel (Or however its spelt) from getting sent off, which surely should have been a sending off.
Edmund Posted 26 December 2010 Author Posted 26 December 2010 Never said it should've I agree that Shmeichael should've been sent off, just saying that we were lucky that the ref didn't blow for a foul earlier.
Haydos Posted 26 December 2010 Posted 26 December 2010 It's named 'dive.mp4' Pissing about in the corner for their first when someone should have just put a boot through it, basics AGAIN. Can you moan about Naughton's slip, I think I will considering Gradel's a bit lightweight. Would it be harsh to say that Kirkland should be parrying their second, it looks straight at his chest and it's just gone through him? Can only think it's a yellow for the pen because it's a slightly heavy touch round the keeper. 99 times out of 100 that's a sending off though. As for the foul in the build up to the penalty, 50/50 really, Gally's done well and looked like he just hassled him out of it, can't really tell. King <3 Lovely tekkers, all there is to say about that.
Dylan Posted 26 December 2010 Posted 26 December 2010 But even if he has to take a touch before shooting, surely the keeper's not getting back. With one defender on the line surely its still a CLEAR goal scoring opportunity.
Haydos Posted 26 December 2010 Posted 26 December 2010 Yeah, exactly. Just what the refs mindset might be. Remember they're all ridiculous people though.
Babylon Posted 26 December 2010 Posted 26 December 2010 If it's not a sending off he should have gone for taking the ball off the spot after it had been placed by gally. That's a second yellow.
Guest BlueBrett Posted 26 December 2010 Posted 26 December 2010 If it's not a sending off he should have gone for taking the ball off the spot after it had been placed by gally. That's a second yellow. That would have been hilarious! If the ref didn'thave the balls to give the straight red he was never going to have the backbone for 2 quickfire yellows though.
