This coincided with our leakiest defence under Sven and a more than a few defeats. good riddance is what I say
shailen Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 the injury rocked his form but when fully fit he was a class above and really he is a premiership player. These are the kind of players we need to be signing in order to achieve promotion.

STUHILL Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 He used us to get himself noticed again, which is fair enough but he didn't do enough to justify he is a Prem player in my opinion. I am glad Sven has brought in a fresh pair of CB's as our defence has made it far too easy for teams to score against us, with Davies been at fault a few times. Good luck to Davies if he gets his move to a Prem club, and he may do well, but he will have to do better than he did for us, that's for sure! All about Bamba, Mee and Hobbs now!!! Oh and Vitor if he can stay fit. Morrison on his way I'm guessing unless he plays a blinder today!

That would leave us with Davies, Hobbs, Vitor, Morrison, Bamba and Mee! Even if Morrison does leave, it still leaves us with 5 CB's, with Davies probably a dead cert for starting, so only one other position to fill

I don't think we'll miss him and he seems abit too big for his boots for me. I expect Wolves are signing him to replace Stearman, I'd actually prefer him.

The boxing day game against leeds he looked totally not interested, and I'd rather see somebody who perhaps hasn't got the ability of Davies but will put in 100% every minute of every game.

Thracian Posted 3 January 2011 Posted 3 January 2011 Can't say I rate him that highly at all. He's just too casual and prone to lapses both on the ball and behind him with the space he leaves. It's no accident our defence has looked much more solid in the last two games. It's not in any way cultured but it is at least effective.
