Not as much as some would lead us to believe, but it is still available in many high class restaurants. We eat garlic and cheese in this country but we still take the piss out of the French for it. Eating dogs is a common misconception for the Japanese and being that they're infamous for killing and eating Whales - surely you'd want to go for that? That said, I love all the dog songs because it's almost like we're playing up to our naivety/stupidity (though sadly I don't think we are...)

Thats what I remember from the Kop at Filbert Street back in the day.
