Trav Le Bleu Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 Okay, so I bought the Super 10 membership in January, which is 10 tickets for £199 (or £20 a ticket). 3 of the vouchers can be used for Platinum matchs (though if I bring my dad along who is a pensioner, he can get into a Platinum feature using a gold voucher.) So how should I use these? (I was going to use them for the Brizzle match until they moved it AND wiped out my saving!) I plan on using them thus 2, 4, 4 ie for 1 match just me and the missus, then 2 more matches me, the missus and 2 others friends/family (and get some money back - £199 was BIG outlay for me at the moment ) I probably won't be able to afford anymore matches, so I need to get this right. So what do you think are the 3 STAND OUT matches left? There's one last potential problem though. My Birthday. In the last few years City have always done birthday specials for people who have previously been members or STholders (Your ticket for £10 and friends for £15 or suchlike) for a game near your birthday. Mine is May 2nd, so I might STILL get that. I know my dad got the offer earlier in the year. It's got me in a quandary

Then for the other two I'd pick Norwich on March 8th and Burnley on April 9th. I envisage that they'd be pretty good and exciting games to watch, especially Norwich. If it's the reverse of the Carrow Road meeting then it'd be a great choice! The last match is always good too I think. Especially if we win and it'd secure a play-off spot.
LCFC-Sam Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 Well you have a choice of : Cov (26th Feb - Saturday) Norwich (8th March - Tuesday) Portsmouth (19th March - Saturday) Burnley (9th April - Saturday) Palace (12th April - Tuesday) Watford (25th April - Monday) Ipswich (8th May - Sunday) So if you're after a saturday afternoon match, theres only three left? I'd pick, Cov, Norwich and Ipswich Edit : Unless you use your birthday voucher for ipswich, in that case i'd pick Watford instead
BrummieFOX Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 Our final 3 home games could be extremely interesting depending on what is riding on them. Could well be a playoff spot if we're still up there. Though in terms of standout games, I'd personally pick: Cov - 26th Feb Norwich - 8th March (Tues night) Ipswich - 8th May (Celebrating our 6th place spot!)
Brown Fox Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 I'd say Norwich and Burnley because they're potential promotion rivals and also the last game against Ipswich for the promotion party!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 15 February 2011 Author Posted 15 February 2011 As suggested, the Ipswich match is a stand out, also the one I'd need to use the Platinum vouchers on UNLESS of course it's my birthday match (which gets chosen for you - they used to give you a choice of two before)... in which case I'd use it for the Cov game, they're the only two Platinum fixtures left. I really wish they'd let me know well in advance!
danny. Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 Trav you might get 2 for your bday - my bday was in August and I got both the games in August (Reading and Middlesborough) for £10 or whatever it was (+£10 for anyone that came with me).
Dylan Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 Pompey and Norwich are available under the Sun Football Tickets scheme- basically you can get 2 Adult Tickets for 19.50 for those 2 matches, so works out at £9.75 each. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/fun/competitions/promotions/article2825850.ece

Ross 'LCFC' Turner Posted 15 February 2011 Posted 15 February 2011 crystal palace - should be an easy win, should score a few goals burnley - two good teams, should be a good game norwich - two good teams, should be a good game
