Goal of the week is absolute bollocks on there anyway

It takes an absolute fluke for any football league goal to be picked, instead they pick any average Arsenal/Chelsea/Man utd goal. All four of our goals against Barnsley would have made the list if it was Man utd scoring them. Naughtons should be in there regardless.

I think King's goal was better. So many things had to be spot on for the whole one-touch move that brought the ball from back to front. Yes, Yakubu's goal was a fine goal, but it looked more spectacular than it was IMO.

To be fair, if say, Wellens would have scored the exact same goal as rooney but 10 yards further out, Rooney would still get it.

Did anyone see MOTD 2's overheadkick goalfest? Muzzy's was better than all of them except Lauren Robert's weird twisting overhead backheel, and Trevor Sinclair's stunner on the FA cup, but of course it didn't get shown.

Not being biased, but I don't understand how Asharvin beat The Yak. (yes I do know more People voted!!)

Don't particularly like Rooney, but it was a quality goal...had more time than Yak!! ;-)
